Hey guys, so this is the first fanfic I've ever written. It's a really short one, but it's a start, I guess.
This is kinda me summing up the couples I think are gonna happen in YJ. Agree, or no? And I picked Robin because, well, he's Robin.
So when I wrote this, I forgot that Robin's parents had died. I was only thinking for the TV show D: Sorry guys.
Disclaimer: I do not own Young Justice, it belongs to Cartoon Network, etc. (I don't really know what I'm supposed to write here, so I basically copied what other people wrote :/)
Robin's mind was always at work analyzing everything. He had a top-notch mind, and boy did he know it. He could hack into evil lairs, big time corporations, and even monkeys. But today, Robin was taking a break from all the calculative thinking.
It was almost dawn, and Robin had just finished his early morning workout. Strutting around in his favorite blue tank top, Robin felt refreshed after having exercised his muscles. He took a seat in his favorite chair and let his mind wander.
As the youngest member of the team, Robin sometimes didn't understand his older teammates. Wally was his best friend, but boy could that Wally get around– or at least, try to get around. Sometimes Robin swore that Wally had a pickup line for every female that existed in the universe. Poor Miss Martian must be tired of all of Wally's cheesy attempts to woo her.
She was obviously focused on Superboy; everyone on the team knew (maybe except Wally). There were times that Robin had the slightest feeling that Supy was developing feelings for her, but he wasn't ready to put his money on it– yet.
And then there was Artemis. She got along well with everyone– except Wally. But at times, Robin wondered if behind their arguments, they were hiding something… more? Like that time they were in the desert and Wally and Artemis (though they'd lost their memories) were getting along well– really well, even for people who'd been enemies but had lost their memories. But who was he to speculate? (Only the Boy Wonder.)
And then there was Kaldur, who'd lost his old love. Robin couldn't really empathize with him but of course he still respected Kaldur's feelings. It must be tough to lose a loved one. Robin couldn't imagine life without his utility belt.
Robin liked to try and figure out people; it helped train another aspect of the mind. Of course, being thirteen, Robin had a tough time when it came to things like love. Sometimes he wondered if he'd end up like Wally chasing after everyone, or maybe Kaldur in a loving relationship, or maybe Miss Martian in a one-sided (?) crush.
But when he really thought about it, he realized… he was Robin. He had his dependable utility belt, he had his genius mentor Batman, he had a close group of friends, and he didn't need anything else.
I hope you liked it :)
Thanks~ and keep watching Young Justice!
