Sorry for not updating. I've been busy. Anyway, before I begin I just have a quick request: would any Christians (or non) pray for my family in Florida? All of my family lives there and it's where the worst part of Irma (hurricane) is going to hit. I'm scared for them and for my best friend (I've known her half her life) whom also lives there. Thank you all and enjoy this chapter. One of my oc's is mentioned. This story is Cole x Morro cause well... why not?

~We're not so different (Cole x Morro)~

Cole sat on the edge of a dock in what remained of Stiix. He looked down at his ghostly hands. He was still getting used to being a ghost and not having the capability to feel anything— physically that is. Mentally, Cole was in pain. It hurt that he was different. He didn't know if he'd ever be human again. He missed the sense of feeling, he missed being mortal, having control of his body, being physical. Now, he was immortal, couldn't feel, lost control of his body—fading that is—, and he was non physical. It pained him how everyone claimed to understand him, but he knew they didn't. They were all mortal and physical. They... they could eat cake and actually taste it! It was unfair and it hurt. Cole let a ghostly tear fall. It hurt to cry; pain was one of the only things a ghost could feel. Ironic.

Meanwhile, Morro was walking through the ruins of Stiix. He had almost died. The Preeminent tried to drag him down, but he was saved. He didn't see who his savior was, but he assumed it was his Sensei. Everyone else hated him, after all. He sighed as he came across the docks. Though he had changed for the better, everyone feared him. That's why he now stayed in the ruins of Stiix. He had always been alone; Bansha, Soul Archer, and Winnifrenn had gone down with the Preeminent. But now... now there was someone else. Another ghost, perhaps? Morro walked closer, then realized who it was. It was Cole.

Morro neared the ghost and stood silently behind him. He could hear the sobs of the ghostly ninja. Morro placed a hand on Coles shoulder. Cole jumped up in alarm. "Oh... it's just you," Cole looked at the ground. "what do you want?"

"What's wrong?" Morro asked.

"Nothing." Cole lied.

"... I don't believe you." Morro looked into Coles eyes. "I'm just so confused." Cole whispered. Cole was confused? "How so?" Morro asked.

"Just... being immortal and technically dead, if you think about it. And... oh my gosh," Cole looked up at Morro. "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Cole punched Morro. Morro backed up and rubbed his arm where Cole had punched him. See, a mortal can't punch, hit, kick etc. a ghost, but another ghost can.

"Cole, I didn't intend on making you become a ghost, but think about the advantages! You can go through walls, you can eat all you want without gaining weight, you can't get sick, people can't hurt you- oh wait..," Morro stopped for a moment. "People can't hurt you unless they have water or Aquastone (a/n: I dunno if it was called that. It's been awhile since I watched that season since I'm on 8) and you can turn invisible!" Morro disappeared and appeared next to Cole. "Woah! How'd you do that?" Cole asked. "Magic..." Morro disappeared again. "Woah, you've GOTTA teach me how to do that!" Cole enthusiastically begged. "Dude, it's not rocket science. All ghosts can do it," he looked at Cole then whispered to himself, "And... evil sisters of curse that turn out to be your mistress known as the Preeminent..."

"Your sister was the Preeminent? We killed your sister?!" Cole shouted. "Well, her demon side." The duo was silent.

"Anyway, I should go. I must face the ninja that think they understand me although they don't." Cole stated duly. "Hey, we're not so different, are we?" Morro asked. "What do you mean?" Cole looked confused. "Well, I lost my mom at a young age, like you... we are both elemental masters, we both are ghosts, and we both love cake!" Morro explained. "Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I brought you back...?" Cole asked. "Um... ok." The duo headed to Destiny's Bounty.

"Wait, so you brought Morro Grant, of all people, back to the bounty because he said he likes cake?!" Shouted Kai. "No," Cole narrowed his eyes. "Because he understands me. We are friends now, and I will defend him with my life." Cole explained. "Uh huh, whateves." Kai walked away. "Thanks." Morro said, smiling at the earth ninja. "No problem. Just keeping in mind what you said earlier– we're not so different."

To be continued maybe...

This was originally a one-shot but xxXTheySayI'mEvilXxx is in love with this ship and I'm proud to be the first to write it. Updates might be slower than my usual every day/every other day. Anyway, bye!
