A/N Hey guys! So anyways I decided to do a short fic to one of my favorite songs, Butterflies by Stereos xD

Disclaimer: I do not own Sonny with a Chance or the song Stereos :P

When I'm beside you it's enough to blow my mind
I heard you whisper that you wanted to be mine

"Sonny get back here!" I yelled.

"Catch me if you can!" She mock laughed.

I suppressed a groan. But the way she ran down the hallways, her eyes shining, hair flowing and that ever so contagious laugh of hers was enough to keep a content smile on my face as I chased after her.

I heard her gasp quietly as she realized I was gaining.

I smirked. "Chad Dylan Cooper always wins!" I yelled loudly.

She turned around to make a comeback before slipping on a prop.

I quickly ran up and caught her in my arms.

"Got ya." I said smugly. "You're mine now." I smirked.

"I've always been." She whispered before brushing her lips against mine.

The way you take my hand and the way you touch my face
It got me thinking that I don't wanna be no other place

"Are you cold?" I asked concerned.

"Maybe just a little." She replied as she snuggled towards me.

I immediately wrapped my arms around her.

"Much better." She laughed.

"Say you love me." I teased.

She rolled her eyes playfully. "I love you Chad Dylan Cooper."

"Doesn't everyone?" I asked with a sly smiled before holding onto her hand.

She shot me a smile before gently squeezing my hand.

And in the morning when the sun was coming up
I had you with me never wanting to wake up

I tossed and turned some more as my phone began beeping.

My tired eyes fluttered open.

It was the damn alarm.

I groaned and looked towards Sonny who was still sleeping peacefully against me.

We'd fallen asleep on the couch again.

I gently shook her. "Sonny," I whispered.

She mumbled incoherently but showed no signs of waking up.

"Sonny," I called louder shaking her harder.

Her eyes finally opened. She blinked confused before sitting up.

"We fell asleep?" She asked with a yawn.

"Yup," I informed her.

Sonny nodded before readjusting her position to the one before.

"Oh and guess what?" I asked tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"What?" She asked sleepily as she closed her eyes again.

"We're almost late for work." I announced her.

She groaned.

Girl, I was changing and nothing I could take could change your mind

Even though you let me go I still want someone like you

But it ain't like that, lets turn the time back
To when you told me you had to take your heart back

"What do you want me to do?" I asked exasperated.

The heavy rain hitting the pavement drenched my clothes as everyone around us was in a hurry to find shelter. But all I could focus on was the girl in front of me.

"Nothing can be done," Sonny ruefully.

"Sonny please," I reasoned grabbing her hand.

She looked away. Her usually bright eyes were hard and heavy.

"I'm sorry Chad." She whispered before letting go of my hand.

You said I gave you butterflies then you flew out of my life.
