I don't know where this came from, I haven't had any NaruSasuNaru plot bunnies for months and then bam! This one jumped up and attempted to nibble my ear off!
Disclaimer: Let's just say a lot of the recent happenings would not have happened if I owned this manga. I don't, therefor they have and that is why we're all so upset...
"Don't leave me."
"Why?" he replied, his tone cold and unfeeling as ever.
"Because I love you."
"No."
"No? No I don't love you? Or no you won't stay?"
"Both."
"If you want to leave fine, but don't presume to know how I feel!"
He sneered, "you don't have any idea what you feel. You act like I should owe you something for this confession but it is your choice to believe the trap your mind has set for you."
"What are you talking about?"
"You cannot love someone who cannot feel. What is there to love?"
"Well I think we'll be a perfect match. Apparently I am pretending to feel and you have skipped that stage entirely and now do not feel at all. Who else would have us?"
"What makes you think I'd want somebody to start with?"
"You haven't walked away yet."
He says nothing, only stands in that disturbingly still way of his.
"Don't leave me."
"Why?"
"Because I love you."
"I hate you."
"No you don't."
A dark eyebrow rises, "and how would you know?"
"You don't feel remember."
"I lied."
"I know, but you still haven't walked away."
"I'm enjoying the hope in your eyes."
"I'm enjoying it too, care to join me?"
"Why?"
"Because I love you."
"Would you stop saying that?" he glares.
"I love you."
"I hate you."
"Stay with me."
"Why?"
"Because you hate me."
"I hate you."
"So you've said."
"I'm leaving."
"It's cold out there. And it's the middle of the night. Leave in the morning." He turns his head to the black window and the howling of the wind rumbled through the walls, penetrating the silence.
"In the morning."
"Yes."
He nods and slips back beneath the covers. His hands are cold and his feet are freezing but it's perfect anyway.
Love the cliche! You know you can't get enough really. Please tell me what you think, and if there any mistakes because I kind of rushed through this one.
