"Quinn it'll be fine. Just go ask her."
"No it won't Rachel."
"Quinn, honey please just listen to me, yes it will. Why are you working yourself up so much? The two of you have been going out almost every night for the past 2 weeks. You have nothing to worry about."
"You just don't understand Rach."
"What doesn't my favorite hobbit understand?" Santana asked walking up behind the blonde.
"That's not as much of a compliment as you think Santana." Rachel smiled in spite of her statement
"You know I say it with love," The cheerio shrugged it off with a wave of her hand, "Q we still on for tonight? I already have something figured out for us."
"Yeah of course."
"Awesome." Leaning down Santana pecked her lips before leaving a lingering kiss on her forehead before walking out of the cafeteria confidently.
"Do you still need proof?" Rachel asked the girl staring after the cheerio who had stolen her heart.
Quinntana-Quinntana- Quinntana-Quinntana- Quinntana-Quinntana- Quinntana-Quinntana-Quinntana
Quinn looked down at the empty containers that had held dinner before taking a moment to enjoy rye view. She loved that Santana had access to a truck so that could enjoy gazing up at the sky and having a picnic without having to be on the ground. There was something about just spending quality time with Santana that made her feel complete. This thoughtful, caring, loving side that only she really got the opportunity to see it was perfect. Santana was perfect.
Glancing over at the Latina she took a deep breath. The lake was a notorious spot for teenagers across the town. It was makeout central and she knew what Santana was expecting if she brought her up here. Climbing onto the Latina's lap she wrapped her arms around her neck playing with the raven locks she found there.
"Thank you for dinner."
"You're welcome."
Closing the distance between them Quinn pressed a kiss to the lips in front of her. Feeling Santana's tongue asking for entrance she immediately responded allowing theirs to battle. Allowing her mind a second to focus she realized it was time to give Santana what she truly wanted. Moving her hands down to the bottom of her t-shirt she felt Santana pull away.
"What are you doing?" Santana sent her a confused look letting her hands rest on the blonde's waist.
"Giving you something as a proper thank you." When Quinn attempted to continue taking off her shirt the motion was stopped again by Santana's hands.
"Quinn we aren't even official yet."
"Oh...yeah of course. I should have known you wouldn't want me to." Starting to move off the other girl she tried to hide her tears by looking away.
"Whoa I didn't mean for you to move." Taking a moment Santana sat up so she could be eye to eye with Quinn, "What I should have said was…Quinn Fabray will you be my girlfriend?"
"Really?"
"Really."
"Yes! Yes!" Smiling into the kiss she planted on Santana's mouth she pulled back to look at the other girl's dazed expression, "Oh San I was so worried that I was the only one that felt that way."
"Ohhh so that's what you and Rachel were talking about this morning huh? You were freaking out that I didn't return the sentiment."
"Maybe a little."
"Babe you had to have known that I didn't do all this going out and being sweet stuff for just anybody."
"I thought you just wanted to get into my pants."
"Well yeah obviously I want in your pant."
"Oh shut-up." The blonde rolled her eyes settling back into place on her girlfriend's lap allowing the comfortable silence to take over.
"So let's go back to that whole taking the shirt off thing."
Laughing loudly Quinn pushed the other girl back on her back and began the process of taking her shirt off again.
