This was written for the poetry for prompt challenge by Schermionie. My poem was "The End of Love" by Sophie Hannah.
Thanks x-NewGirlInTown-x for having beta-read my story.
Enjoy and review.

Charlie and Fred Weasley were sat at a table, on their own, looking sullen.

"So, Charlie, where is your date?" George Weasley asked his brother.

"Haha, funny, really," Charlie said in a flat voice, "You know she dumped me."

He looked depressed, something that was really rare for Charlie Weasley.

"Ah! Right! How could I have forgotten that both yours and Fred's dates dumped you, and that you're now alone, on Bill's wedding, celebrating love?" mocked George.

"You're alone too bro," retorted his brother.

"Yes, but it's by choice. Waiting for the good one, you know..." he winked at them And hopefully, I'll have her soon, he thought. "But you shouldn't be complaining, there are a lot of possible dates here..."

The three of them scanned the tent, looking for Fleur's cousins.

But their interest was mostly caught by all the "love" being celebrated. It was unbearable: hearts, butterflies, couples dancing cheek against cheek everywhere they looked...

Charlie voiced his thoughts :

"All this love is sickening."

Charlie and Fred were not in the mood for celebrating. The eldest of the three brothers had just broken up with his long-term Romanian girlfriend, and Fred had been dumped by Angelina Johnson only five days ago.

"All that demonstration of 'love', really." Fred agreed with his older brother, scowling.

"Stop mourning guys! You know what, you should celebrate your break ups - time to move on! I can spot some veelas over there..."suggested George.

The two depressed brother smiled lightly. George was right, they needed to get over it. This wedding was their chance, they knew it.

"That's a good idea, George. Since we already have the suits, the tent and the drinks, we should party!"

"Cheers to being single!"exclaimed the three brothers.

"To the world : beware! The three hottest wizards attending this wedding are now alone, single, and celebrating their break ups," they shouted between drinks. Unbeknownst to them, however, George had an idea in mind when he 'suggested' moving on to his brothers. Later, he decided that they were drunk enough : it was time to act.

"It's great to see you all happy, and to see that Fred's recovering," he explained to his brothers, "because this way he won't mind when I ask Angelina out."

Fred gave his brother a weird look - he was either surprised, or drunk, or both.

George shrugged.

"It's not the end of love for everyone, you know."
