Earth traditions
Liara sighed as she watched the video feed. She always found it amusing that a certain someone thought she could escape the notice of the shadow broker's vast information network. Sometimes she would humour the human because it amused her to do so but not today. Not today because she had missed her and was happy to see her. With that in mind Liara sneaked out of the visual feed room, went down the stairs and tapped Xandi Shepard on the shoulder. As soon as the human turned Liara pressed her blue lips to Xandi's pale coloured ones. After pulling away Liara rested her head on Xandi's shoulder.
"Merry Christmas," she whispered.
Xandi Shepard looked up at the mistletoe that she had just hung above the main console of the ship that was hidden amongst the storms of Hagalaz.
"Here I thought," Shepard said as she held Liara in her arms. "That I would be teaching you about my strange earth ways and ..."
"I am well aware of kissing someone who stands under the mistletoe," Liara said. "When you were gone I endeavoured to learn things about your culture, it made me feel closer to you."
Xandi sighed, feeling that she had let Liara down by missing two years worth of holidays, both human and asari. Liara saw that her love was upset and knew the perfect thing to cheer her up.
"I have some embarrassing footage of Ambassador Udina from a citadel Christmas party he attended," Liara explained. "How would you like to release it onto the extranet?"
Xandi Shepard's face beamed with happiness, this was surely the start of the best Christmas she had ever had.
