Random Idea that I liked. I won't guarantee you that this will continue to be written. And if this chapter even makes it onto the web completed is a miracle in itself.

Blame the writer's block.

Welcome back, you faithful readers, and hello to the new ones!

Prologue

Ib shifted uneasily in her sleep. She wasn't sure if it was of excitement, or fear. Excitement because Garry invited her to for lunch tomorrow. Fear because of… that place. Ib shuddered slightly. Along with the miraculous memory of Garry, it also brought along the nightmares of the demented gallery. Ib hadn't told her parents. They would find her crazy. The girl got up, and looked out at the moon through her open bedroom window. It was a pale friend of hers, who smiled regardless of what had happened and listened to the girl's quiet complains and pleas.

"…" Not sure of what to say to express her feelings, Ib decided to just stare at the glowing orb that dangled in the velvet night sky. A million stars pierced the cloak of night, and all sent a ray of light down towards Ib.

Help…

The girl widened her eyes in shock. The voice… she had never heard it before…

Help…

Ib clutched her blanket tighter around her. "Um…" She looked around the room sharply. Not a hint of anyone there. Growing frightened, the girl decided to go back to sleep. But the voice would not stop haunting her mind.

Find me… Help…

Ib found that she couldn't sleep at all. "Um… I… who are you?"

There was no reply. And Ib dismissed it as her imagination, tested and tried by the horrors of… that place. The art gallery.

Help… Ib… IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIB…. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIB… IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIB

Gasping, Ib sat up hard and cranked her neck around, staring into the darkness, trying to pierce it with her unblinking stare. There was no one there. "What do you want…" She whispered, too afraid to move.

The voice grew fainter.

Ib… Ib… Help… me… Find… me…. Ib… Help…

"Um."

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELPHELPHELPHELPHELPHELPHELPHELPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII B IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIB!

The poor girl screamed, covering her ears, trying to rid it of the horrible sounds. It rang through her mind, burying itself with awful emphasize into every nerve, ever muscle, every cell of her body. Ib's bedroom door banged open, and her parents dashed inside.

The voice was gone, just like that. And Ib hid herself under her blanket, trembling. Is this from my memories…? But… I don't recall anyone… like… that… Ib thought, panicked.

"Are you okay, dearie? What happened?" Her mother's crimson eyes, sharp with worry, came into Ib's view.

"…" Ib sat up a little, relieved that the voice is gone. "…Just a nightmare, mom. I-I'm okay."

Her dad smiled uncomfortably at her, "How about a story…? And something to eat?"

Ib nodded, anything to make her feel better.

It was midnight, but Ib still couldn't sleep. She was haunted by the thought that the voice might come back. It had greatly disturbed her.

"…" I think it's gone now… Ib thought to herself, sighed, and closed her eyes.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiib…

"Oh…"
