James was bored. Terribly, suffocatingly bored. His mind felt as though it were trapped in some sort of...a box, perhaps? But no, that didn't seem right, did it? Jim pondered this. Not a cage, those were open. And even prisons had windows. Oh, Jim sat up straight in his leather armchair that dwarfed him, and still he seemed to fill the entire room. A black, plastic body bag. That seemed an apt analogy. James sighed as the thought quickly vanished, his mind already hungry for something new to chew on.
Oh, goodness he was bored.
Jim fiddled with the cuffs of his pale blue pyjama shirt. He let out a huff of breath, swinging his slender, rather knobby legs over the arm of his chair. James knew he would regret it, but he had exhausted every other option. He pulled out his phone, and dialed one of the two numbers on his speed dial.
It rang twice, before the line was wordlessly picked up.
James promptly filled the softly humming silence of the phone, with his high-status, unpredictable Irish lilt
"Sebaaaaastiaaaan," he purred into the phone.
"Yeah, boss?" The gravelly, rich, thickly east-end accent answered in a tone of thinly veiled exasperation.
James rolled agilely off the chair, and sauntered across the room, phone pressed to his ear.
"How many times must I tell you to call me James?"
"At least once more, as always, boss."
James snorted. "Since when do you have any sense of propriety, Sebby? Honestly, a tiger cannot dress as a lamb and be believable. But, to business. I'm bored again, and I want you to kill something for me and bring it back here."
"Is there any possible point in bring you-"
"Actually, I've changed my mind."
Sebastian groaned.
"Oh, really, Seb, you should learn to keep some composure. Now, what shall I do..."
Jim tapped a finger to his chin, and pondered.
Sebastian piped up, "Why don't I come over? I'll bring a movie and cook you dinner."
James grinned. "I don't know why I keep forgetting how perfect you are, Sebastian."
"Um...thanks?"
Jim giggled softly. "Be at my place in five minutes, time waits for no man. Not even me. Shocking, really."
And with that, he hung up, and walked to his bedroom to get dressed.
Lovely. Sebastian never failed to find a way to amuse him, Jim mused idly as he tossed his pyjamas onto his bed, and walked naked into his closet to find a suit. Oh, he would need to hurry, but he had to find just the right outfit to please his tiger.
