It was just another day at Mount Justice for the team. Kid Flash was getting breakfast with M'gann and Artemis. Well he was trying to eat it more than help. But that's Wally for you. You'll think that with all the food that he ate he would be fat but it all goes into energy for his speed. Aqualad was talking to Superboy about something or other and Robin was just heading for the kitchen. I on the other hand was waiting for him to walk into the door so that I could drop on him. Just for fun.
"Morning all" greeted Robbin as he walked into the room.
"Arrr" I growled as I dropped down onto the startled boy.
"Aurrrrrrrrrrrr" screamed Robbin in shock as I tackled him to the floor. The noise caught the attention of everyone else as well. That also included Black Canary and Batman who came rushing in to find out who was being attacked.
"Morning sleepy-head" I greeted, rubbing the top of his head with my paw before catching to looks of the others.
"What are you doing?" questioned Black Canary, trying to remain calm.
"What's it look like?" I asked as I got off of Robbin, allowing the boy to get up, before answering my own question. "I was saying morning to Robin."
"Okay then why did he scream?" asked Black Canary with a frown watching as I became my normal form.
"I dropped on him" I admitted with a sheepish grin. "Now no more questions. What's for breakfast? I'm starving." Black Canary shook her head as she and Batman left the room.
"Can't you smell the pancakes?" asked M'gann with a smile. I flicked my ear with a boarded look now on my face.
"Of course I can" I answered before looking at Robin who was trying to catch my attention.
"Did you have to drop on me like that?" he asked with a doubtful look.
"It was just for fun" I said with a pout. "Besides you can get me back later, like you always do."
"Just you wait" answered Robin as he helped himself to pancakes and maple syrup. After he had finished Robin went and sat down with Flash. I fetched myself a plate and got my own pancakes. The only difference was that I had sliced Mango with my pancakes instead of syrup. It's not like I don't like maple syrup it's just that before I met Robin a year and a half ago I was living on a diet of fruit that I would find in the orchids just outside of the city.
"If you eat any for fruit you would start to look like a fruit salad Belinda" joked Flash as I sat down to eat my breakfast.
"Yeah right" I answered as I ate my breakfast, reading a book at the same time. It's good that I can multitask things so that I could do two things at once.
"Still don't know you do that" said Flash with a bewilded look on his face. "And what I also don't get is why you call yourself Wildcat when you are more of a wolf."
"Yeah. I was thinking about that as well but I haven't found a better name yet." I answered and I ate another bite of mango.
"You'll think of something but I like Wildcat" agreed Robin with a smile.
"Flatter" I said giving him a playful nudge.
"What? I was just saying" defended Robin with a smile.
"Sure you were" said Flash befor he jumped up onto the table and sang "Belinda and Robin sitten' in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." He did a dance at the same time and looked even more silly.
"Um- Wally" said Robin as Flash jumped down.
"Yes" answered Flash as he turned to him.
"You're dead" Robin said as Flash caught the look that I was giving him.
"Um- bye" said Flash as he took off with me after him yelling death threats. Yup it was just another day at Mount Justice.
