Flowers

For as long as he had known Jun Kurosu, the boy had liked flowers and everything that had to do with them.

But was that really the case?

Troubled, Tatsuya Suou stared at the sleeping body of his best friend (shortly after Yukino left and he joined them), or maybe even something more, in thought, managing to miss said boy opening his eyes to stare back.

"Tatsuya?"

The redhead didn't answer as he held the lighter in his pocket thighter. Except for reaching out and patting Jun's shoulder with a small smile. Which was only returned by the cheerful teen as he was given an iris, so remiscent of the first time they had met again on opposite sides of this ... mess... whatever it was.

"What is it's meaning?"

"Thank you... and..." the brunet trailed off as the other's hand gently held his.

Tatsuya didn't have to say anything, for all that would be said would be a pointless waste of words in face of their silent understanding of one another. Neither of the teens noticed that they were being watched by Maya, Lisa and Eikichi on the other side of the room they were resting in, all three with matching grins on their faces.

"Oh... this is going to be fun!" the bluenet laughed, imagining how he could tease the other teens.

"It's quite romantic, how they can understand each other without the need to speak..." Maya said dreamily, causing Lisa to shake her head as she walked over to the still staring into each other's eyes duo with a chuckle.

"Hey you guys! We are supposed to go soon, we don't have much time left."

Two nods were all the answers she got but she didn't mind.

Seeing Tatsuya happy for a change was enough for the slightly more mature blonde.

AN: Had to write TatsuJun, small drabble aside. The lack of them in fanfiction makes me sad.

More TatsuJun please? :(
