Inuzuka Kiba's day started out relatively normal. He'd woken up with the sun, dressed in his standard issue black pants, black t-shirt and pulled his long black and red coat over his shoulders with the hood over his hair, which had grown considerably longer and messier since he was fourteen. After he'd gotten dressed he ran over to Hinata's place to meet with Shino and eat breakfast, an ANBU Oinin need to eat healthy you know, and Hinata was by far a better cook than both boys put together. Once breakfast was done he went to the forest to train for a bit before heading back to the Inuzuka compound to be harassed by his mother for not cleaning his room (could she still do that even though he was clan head?) And to change into his ANBU gear before setting off to the Hokage's Tower to receive his mission report.
After a twenty minute wait he was admitted to see the Godaime only to be staring at her with eyes as wide as saucers and his mouth hanging open. Did she really just tell him that he was to train some spoiled little brats, that he was to become the supervisor of a Genin squad? "Are you fucking serious?" The older woman raised an eyebrow at him, "Yes I am. Your expertise as an Oinin would be useful to keep the brats in line, and you've got enough patience to handle three rising young Ninja...maybe. Either way I'm willing to take the risk, you've been on non-stop missions since you joined ANBU and you need a break, a decent one. Teaching seems to be the only way for me to utilize your skills and still give you some vacation time."
He just stared at her some more; he definitely didn't have the patience for a Genin squad, he barely had enough for training new ANBU recruits and they where all older than twelve. "Alright fine. I'll do it, just don't stick me with a team that acts like mine used to." She nodded and sent him off to see Iruka to plan what team he would get and plan for tomorrow's introductions.
Iruka told him that he would have Team Three; Takahashi Manzo, Mitsu Toru, and Akamatsu Mikomi. He knew Mikomi, the pretty little sister of his team-mate Akamatsu Akado. He got lucky in that aspect; Mikomi was a real sweetheart, a bit on the quiet side, and downright vicious with a sharp tongue and high intelligence if her brother's bragging was accurate. Ah well, if Mikomi was still the sweet little girl that clung to her brother's leg whenever he left for a long mission and yelled at him to never ever leave her then the two boys would most likely turn out to be brats.
Hecka short, but I figured I'd start the damn thing. It's a pretty pointless story but I've always wanted to see what Kiba might do with students of his own and he's always been one of my favorites. I also figured that he's be a hunter-nin when he got older, his senses are just fir for survival and that nose would be perfect for tracking. So yeah, tell me if you think it'll be a good idea.
Lots of love, Shelby
