Sonic The Hedgehog: Demon Within

Sonic's inner demon, Ashura, leaves his body, and gains one of his own. Sonic is greatly weakend, and must find a way to get him back before everything he loves is destroyed. Really busy, so no updates 4 a while.

Unknown Zone

A cloaked figure can just barely be seen entering a dark cave. He goes to the far end of the cave, and pushes a concealed button. A computer can be heard making a whirring sound as it starts up. After 20 seconds of typing on a keyboard that come out of a slot in the rock wall, the man began to speak, his words broad casted directly to Dr Eggman. A screen slid out of a slit in the wall above the keyboard, as well as a microphone. "Everything is in place, doctor." says the man. "Good. Sonic shall finally meet his doom. And the emeralds?" asked Eggman. "On their way," replied the man."Excellent,"replied Eggman. "Your payment is in your account. That hedgehog shall be mine!"

Green Forest Zone

It's a beautiful day in the Green Forest zone. Sonic the hedgehog can be seen running at full speed, followed closely by his best friend, and sidekick, Miles Prower, a.k.a. Tails. They had just finished collecting the 7 chaos emeralds. If Eggman would attack anytime soon, at least they would be prepared. Sonic could go super, and kick his ass right away, instead of having to go through the usual boring 7 zone, 7 bosses, and final boss when he got all the chaos emeralds crap. They stop where Sonic had fought Eggman for the very first time. "Wow, this place brings back so many memories!" says the hedgehog. "I hadn't met you back then," replies Tails. "Was it easy fighting Eggman The first time?" "You know it!" comes the usually cocky reply.

Something catches Sonic's eye. A small floating object is heading there way. As it came closer, it was obvious what it was. Dr. Eggman in his flying hovercraft. "Oh, no," starts the hedgehog. "Not again!". "Hello, Sonic," starts Eggman. "I see that you've beat me in collecting the chaos emeralds! But it doesn't matter; I don't need them right know." He pushes a button on the dashboard in the cockpit. "It's time you meet my latest creation, a newer version of Metal Sonic. I've made many adjustments", continued Eggman. "This version is stronger than the power of all seven chaos emeralds together!" "That's impossible!" exclaims Tails. "The chaos emeralds are the strongest source of power on the planet!".

A white light suddenly appears, then starts to take shape. It becomes the silhouette of the metal Sonic from SNK. The light slowly ebbs away, and Metal Sonic is revealed. It looks exactly the same. "What the crap Eggman," says Sonic. "It's EXACTLY the same!". "I wouldn't be so sure," stats Eggman. As if on cue, the robot charges an attack for about 1.243 seconds, then fires. The beam moves so fast, that even Sonic can't doge. He gets hit, and goes flying. He lands, K.O.'ed, 250 meters away. His right arm is broken, and he has a lot of internal bleeding. All this happens in 3 seconds. "Oh my God!" exclaims Tails and begins to sob uncontrollably. "Run little fox, I don't think you would survive such an attack," says Eggman. "I'm not even sure that Sonic did." With that, Eggman and Metal leave Tails on his own, his best friend almost dead.
