"C'mon Sibani,let's go!"
"Finally*, I can't stand too much of that flirting stuff!"Sabani cried in disgust.Onua dug her elbow into Sibani's side.
"Let's go* Sibani."When Onua was home she showed Horse off to her parents. She took Horse to the stable, and unpacked the saddle bag that had been filled with tack, she put it away, then she went back outside. She picked flowers ; poppies, daisies, and roses.Unua took them back to the stables, and mounted Horse again. This trail was bordered with Oak, Spruce, and Fur trees;it was sort of like a tent because the branches shielded you from the sky.As Onua came to the clearing she thought it was a truly lovely place to be buried.Onua dismounted, and tied Horse to a tree, already feeling hot tears in her eyes. She remembered the entire day -all the details-
*The hot sun beat down on Onua and Atri* she remembered thinking how dearly she loved her small brother, telling herself she could never live without him -she felt lucky that she had Atri that day.
*they splashed, and played in the lake, they cuaght tadpoles, and other small fish. She was just rising above the water(she was seeing how long she could stay under) when suddenly she saw Atri falling "Onua!Help!"his small body hit the water, and he went under.Onua rushed over to him, she fished him out, he was out cold -his head had hit a rock, and it's side was bleeding freely.Onua picked her little brother up, and raced back home knowing the healer herself was sick, and unable to treat patients. Her parents would be at the market -Sibani's mother had the Gift, but had never been trained to heal -or had she?* Onua put her flowers down, and sat against the grave sobbing -Atri could have been twelve years old tomorrow.
*She was home! She laid Atri down on the couch, and bandaged his head.Onua kissed his forehead, and told him she'd be back. She raced out of her hut, hair still dripping from the lake.Finnaly, she reached Sibani's house. "Mrs. Oranjarro!Thank Mithros that you're here.We were at the lake, and, and Atri was going to dive from the waterfall and instead he slipped, and he hit his head on a rock, and it's bleeding!" she grabbed Mrs. Oranjarro's arm, and dragged her out the door. When they got back Atri's bandages were soaked with blood, and he had begun to stir. "I can't heal him, but I can reach inside him, and see if anything else is wrong, you* get more bandages, okay?" Onua nodded "Okay." Mrs.Oranjarro closed her eyes, and held Atri's hand.Onua ran to the cupboard and got 3 packages of bandages. When Onua got back Sibani's mother was looking grave "His brain is bleeding."*
