Jeez, it's sure been I while since I wrote. In that time, I've managed to become a Whovian. Specifically, a Dweek. So, don't be surprised if a lot of Doctor Who content is posted soon.

This idea came to me out of nowhere, and takes place during The Snowman when Victorian!Clara is falling off of the cloud. We all have these kinds of moments in life.

Disclaimer: I unfortunately don't own Doctor Who. The entire thing belongs to BBC. If I did, Whouffle would be canon by now.

Everything became clear in those few moments.

It only takes seconds to change a person's life, you know. An epiphany can come, and spur your actions to truth, or a single bad decision can change your life permanently. Even choosing to turn right or left on a road can change your life forever.

And for those few seconds, as I hung falling yet suspended over London, everything became clear to me.

It seemed like our little moment in time has slowed down, and sound was muted. The icy creature shrieking to my right was but a dull roar, and the wind whistling through my ears was only a faint dream. The one thing though, that rang clear as a bell, was the silly man above me yelling, "Clara!"

I could see in his eyes in that moment, what seemed like a tragedy enough for a hundred worlds. His eyes were saying something. Something that he had experienced before and he didn't want to go through again. For a gentleman so young, he seemed somehow so old.

Ah. That's what they were saying. They were saying don't leave me.

He must have people leave him before, then. More than simply me, others. Others he had cared about, somehow lost to time. Others he couldn't get back.

Well, I guess that won't happen then. Everything must have an ending, no matter how much you don't want it to. And guess my too-short time with that silly, yet clever man was quickly falling to its end.

That's when I had my epiphany, as his face got smaller and smaller, and the cold ground got closer and closer. That man was something from beyond our own small world, from a universe of things of I would never see. I knew right then, as the air attempted to catch me.

I knew that I would be willing to die a thousand times over to help that man.
