A quick one
shot of Edmund saving Susan.
Caspian screamed, full of anger throwing his sword between Miraz legs. Suddenly Miraz was abruptly killed by his own men. War was once again going to start. As the Telmarines screamed with their irritated yet fearful faces "Charge!" they march towards the How.
The Telmarines had now met us at the how. "Fire," I screamed as I and several other Narnians shot at the unwanted soldiers, "Brace yourself!" I shouted. A large boulder was being shot right over the How. Them hoping that it would collapse. I dodged the boulder hoping that it was the last one. My bones we aching with pain from this terrifying battle.
I reached back to pull out an arrow taking aim at the Telmarines soldiers. As I took aim I quickly was pushed away by my younger brother than suddenly a large bolder fell where I stood before, crushing some of our fellow soldiers. I shot him a thankful glace. Arrows than came shooting around us. Edmund was right by me staying under cover. Then I had just realized that he had no shield or bow and arrows. Just two roughly dull swords.
"Edmund, what are you doing up here? You are not properly armed. It isn't safe!" I yelled to him.
He ignored me as he grabbed a bow and arrow he took from a dead soldier. He began to shoot at the Telmarines. I was shocked seeing how my younger brother was a war warrior.
Through all the roaring and groans I could hear Peter calling. I turned around to see him with some wounds. Relief fulfilled me seeing him alright.
"Lucy?" he mouthed. I shook my head not knowing where or what Lucy is doing. Oh how I hope she finds Aslan.
Loud screams filled the top of the How with a bolder coming knocking a fairly large tree. The ground suddenly caved in causing me to fall off the edge. I screamed and began to fall slowly into the remaining of the How. My hands cold as ever, tried to grab onto the edge.
I than felt a soft warm hand grab onto my own. I looked up seeing Edmund pulling me up with full effort. The How continued to cave. His hand was gripping mine even more. His face with filled with fear of dropping me. Our hands were coming out of reached. Once we finally were not able to hold on anymore I landed on the remaining of the stone. I looked up seeing Edmund full with relief.
"Are you okay?" he shouted. I nodded turning around seeing Peter rushing to my side to help me down.
As I rushed towards him and Caspian, Edmund came down. We all watched as the cave fully caved in. Hearing screams of our soldiers in pain. Edmund threw the crossbow down to the ground pulling out his fresh sword and nodded. Caspian did the same as I reached for my bow and arrow. Peter knew what this command meant. He raised his sword screaming "For Narnia and for Aslan!"
And with that command we and our soldiers charged into the second battle of Beruna.
