A/N: This idea came upon me the other night from a prompt on Tumblr and thought it too cute not to write :)

"Nice day, isn't it?" Emma greeted, seeing Regina just a few strides ahead.

"It's a bit cold," she grumbled, turning around and stood in front of the blonde. Regina wrapped her black trench coat tighter around her. "Where are you heading?" Regina asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Grannys for a nice cup of hot coffee," Emma answered, rubbing her hands together in attempt to keep warm. "Care to join me?" she squeaked as Regina eyed Emma suspiciously. "We may as well try and get along for Henry's sake," Emma continued, trying to cover up her lame excuse to spend time with Regina. The white powdery snow squelched beneath Regina's boots as she shifted her weight.

"Very well, Miss Swan," Regina sighed.

"Why do you hate me?" Emma asked as they walked in silence down the path.

"I don't hate you," Regina muttered. "I love you," she added barely audible. Emma snapped her head over towards Regina. Suddenly her feet slipped beneath her and Emma fell to the ground. Emma's cheeks turned bright red as Regina helped the blonde to her feet. "Will you watch where you are walking!" Regina growled, placing a hand on her heart.

"I'm fine," Emma mumbled, shrugging Regina off.

"I'm sorry," she apologised looking down at her feet. Emma lifted her face and smiled at her. Regina smiled faintly back at Emma as she subtly gave her a quick peck on her cheek. Emma wasn't sure if she blushing profoundly from falling on her ass or Regina's sudden confession of love. "Let's get you inside. It's freezing out here," Regina said as they arrived at the diner. She jogged up the stairs and held the door open for Emma to enter.

"Thank you," the blonde muttered as she brushed her hand along Regina's arm.
