"I will sacrifice all I have left just to clear my conscious." Her blue eyes stared right into the boys. Her face was stern, as it commonly was. "Mello."
"Then why don't you leave me the hell alone and JUMP OF THE ROOF!" The boy shouted, without thinking, as he usually did. The females stern face twisted into a hurt one.
"Fine. Just so you know... I really did love you, Mello... Just remember that."
The blonde haired boy, Mello, sat against the brick wall against Wammy's house, staring at a spot on the concrete. Three years before, after their conversation, Kasumi, the first girl- No human being- to ever pledge their love to Mello, threw herself from upon the roof and landed on the concrete. "Damn it, Kasumi... I wasn't serious."
"I love you, Mello. I will sacrifice all I have left to show you I love you."
AN: My first story that I've decided to upload on fanfiction. I know it's kind of short but it was just an idea that popped into my head. Yes, I guessed it could be considered a songfic from Sacrifice by tAtU. I accept flaming though remember it is the first one I've uploaded.
