And the Heavens Shall Tremble
Once, we stood as the Heavenly Host,
Armour gleaming in bright array.
But now, our forces are scattered,
Heaven falling to death and decay.
…
No end to the tides of hellspawn,
By terror's roar, was shattered the gate.
Fear valour's in vain, feel all hope is lost,
Perhaps oblivion is our fate.
…
My sword, it is bloodied, my armour is broken,
One by one our numbers die.
Pushed ever back to the Crystal Arch,
Jutting through ever darkening sky.
…
I see Heaven burning around me,
I see destroyed all that we hold dear.
For the first time in history, within Heaven's heart,
We angels know the touch of fear.
…
So the hellspawn keep coming, my sword I keep swinging,
But matters not how many demons I fell.
In time, I too fall to the tides of corruption,
I too fall to the forces of Hell.
