"The wedding isn't far now," Kelissa said to herself as she straightened her wedding dress. It wasn't very long, in fact it barely touched her ankles, yet she felt like a bride and a very beautiful one at that. Even with heels, the top of her head would barely touch Seto's lips. Kelissa carefully fixed her white decorative headband and looked at herself in the mirror. No million-dollar ball gown or long flowing veil, no chapel or expensive honeymoon or even guests. Instead the wedding was small, but perfect. She looked out her window. The sky was practically dark and the dim hours of the night began to creep over Domino City.

"Almost time."

At the stroke of seven, a maid came into her room to lead her down the Kaiba manor stairway before handing her a bouquet of lace and roses before sending her out the back door. Kelissa saw the beautiful fire-like sky and smiled. In front of her she saw the stone pathway outlined in candles at a safe distance. She slowly walked down the "aisle" of candles until she reached past the shrubs and came the small oak. There standing and looking as dashing as ever was Seto. He had a smile on his face. Just past him was the minister, conductor of the wedding so to speak. Kelissa took a moment to take in her surroundings. As she approached her soon-to-be husband, the smile on her face could not have grown any bigger.

"Kelissa Christa-Lee Noel and Seto (Fuckit) Kaiba, the love you two share is…"

As he rambled on, Kelissa felt Seto take her hand. He leaned in and whispered, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you," she replied then added, "Seto, whatever happens next, tomorrow or in ten years, I just want us to remember this moment." The moment she said it freaked her out as if she were telling some sort of prophecy.

"What do you mean?" Seto asked.

"I don't know. The words just sort of slipped out."

"Seto Kaiba?" the minister addressed him. "Take your bride's hand for your vow."

Seto did so and said, "Kelissa Christa-Lee Noel, on this beautiful evening I can honestly say I love you, I will never love anyone else, and I will always love you forever." He pulled his ring for his jacket pocket and slipped it on her finger as he repeated the minister's words: "With this ring, I wed thee, Kelissa Christa-Lee Noel."

Kelissa then took Seto's hand and began her vow, "Seto Kaiba, I never thought I could love a man as much as I love you. I love you with all my heart, and no matter what, I promise to be with you forever." She took her ring out and slipped it around his finger as she repeated the minster: With this ring, I wed thee, Seto Kaiba."

They took hands as the minister said his final words: "By the power vested in me, by the city of Domino, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

Kelissa look deep into his eyes as he bent over to kiss her. Even on her tip-toes, He still had bend down before their lips touched. It was a short kiss but just as passionate as the past ones have been.

Later that night, Seto took her to a hotel where he reserved the ballroom for just the two of them. They danced while looking into each other's eye and kissed some more. Upon coming home around midnight, they consummated their marriage and in those endless hours of love, both Kelissa and Seto could feel their lives drastically changing.
