It was a beautiful evening in Honolulu, but at Steve McGarrett's house things are definitely up. In fact, he received the visit of Catherine Rollins, the girl who has to be his former girlfriend. A very angry Catherine.

"Cath, calm down, please! What's the matter?"

"What's the matter? What's the matter, Steve?" Screamed the girl, really angry "Are you joking or what?"

"No, I'm not joking. And I can't see the problem, the thing who made you so angry!"

Catherine took a long, deep breath "I saw you and Danny, Steve. You two kissed on your doorstep yesterday evening and I can imagine how the night ended!"

Steve stood in front of Catherine, then he sit on a chair "I can explain."

"I won't listen! I'm tired of this story. I want a family with you, Steve, but maybe you want one with Danny and Grace!"

"Cath, please! I..."

"No! Don't call me Cath again. It's over, Steve. It's over." And with that, Catherine left Steve's house and entering her car, driving away from his ex boyfriend's home, without a destination. And during her driving, she saw a familiar figure along the road, so she stopped her car "Kono?"

The former Five-0 Special Agent looked behind her "Cath! What are you doing here?"

"I... I was at Steve's home. Do you need a ride?" Asked the Marine, noticing the plastic bags Kono's was holding.

"Maybe! The weather seem ready to rain."

"Yeah. Come on, the passenger door is opened!"

Kono smiled to the other girl, who was like a sister for her and, during the riding toward Kono's home, the former Five-0 Agent noticed something on Catherine's face "Cath, have you cryed?" Asked sweetly Kono, while Cath stopped the car outside her house.

Cath took again a long deep breath, before looking into Kono's brown eyes "Yes."

"It's about Steve? Did he do something to you?" Asked Kono, really worried for her best friend.

"He... He cheated on me, Kono." Answered Cath, starting to cry again.

"What? Come into my home! These aren't things to spoke in a car."

"No, it's ok. I won't disturb you, Kono. You've got your own pain." Said Catherine. In fact, a year ago, Kono lost her beloved boyfriend Adam Nishimouri and she promised him that she never fell in love for a man again. He was the only one for her.

"It's ok. Come in. My door is always open for a friend, especially if this one is important for me."

Cath smiled a bit between tears and, when them both are into Kono's house, the two took a place on the sofa "Thank you, Kono. You're very kind."

"Nothing! So, what happened between you two?"

"Yesterday evening I saw he and Danny on Steve's doorstep... They were... Kissing..."

Kono opened her eyes in shock "What? Really?"

"Yes. And it hurted me so much. I left him, breaking our history."

"I'm sorry." Said Kono, hugging Cath tightly "Is there something I can do for you?"

"Just... Hold me. Nothing else."

But the hug caused the born of new feelings into both girl's heart and, when they eyes met, their lips pressed together for a light kiss "Wow."

"Your kiss is so nice, Kono."

"You haven't see the best of me!"

"So, show me the best of you." Replied Cath and that night, the two girls filled the emptiness of their hearts with the experience of a new love.
