I don't own Total Drama or anything

As Noah went from shelf to shelf in the library in pursuit of a new book to read, he couldn't help but feel that he was being watched. He browsed through the shelves but couldn't seem to find what he was looking for. Suddenly two bright green eyes stared out at him from in between two books.

"Gah!" Noah stepped back and shook his head. When he looked up again, the eyes were gone. He moved closer to better examine the space between the two books. A hand grasped his shoulder and spun him around.

Noah looked at the strange person before him. The person wore loose, baggy blue jeans and a green sweatshirt with a hood that covered their face.

"Hello, Noah." came a deep voice from beneath the hood. At first, Noah wasn't sure how to react. Then he noticed a red curl fall from behind the hood.

"Hello, Izzy." Noah replied and went back to browsing.

"Darn it! How'd you know it was me?" Izzy threw back the hood going back to her normal voice.

"First, only you would stalk me through the shelves of the library, and second, I saw some of your hair." Noah said without looking up.

"I didn't stalk you through the library shelves." Izzy said. Noah looked up in surprise.

"Just kidding! Yeah, it was me." Izzy said. Noah's shoulders relaxed again.

"So, were you stalking me for no particular reason or were you working on being quiet so that you can improve your rabbit-hunting skills again?" Noah asked.

"I was trying to figure out why you haven't liked my Instagram picture yet."

"Izzy, you don't have an Instagram."

"Yes I do! I made an account today."

"Did you tell me that you made an account before now?"

"…No."

"Then how could I like your picture if I didn't even know that you owned an account?"

"Good point. Ok, I've got rabbits to hunt, bye!" Izzy back-flipped away. Noah heard various people yell at her.

"Hey! Watch it!"

"This isn't a gym, you know!"

"You knocked over my books!"

"No doing flips in the library!"

Noah rolled his eyes and pulled his phone out of his pocket, clicking on the Instagram app. He accepted the follow request that Izzy had sent to him and looked at the picture she had recently posted. It featured her with crossed eyes and her tongue touching her nose while hanging upside down from a tree branch. A small smile crept its way to Noah's lips as he double-tapped.
