This story will be based on two powerful students in the year above the main characters in RWBY and their interactions whilst being used as instructors for the first year students. Main themes will be action and romance. hope you all enjoy ^.^
It was a typical breakfast occurrence at Beacon Academy for Velvet Scarlatina. "What's the matter Velvet you bunny-eared freak? Will a carrot make you feel any better?", Cardin taunted degradingly towards the young faunus.
Tears began streaming down her cheeks as Cardin roughly pulled her sensitive ears.
At that moment she felt helpless, praying desperately for somebody, anybody to come to her aid for once. Little did she know what fate had in store for her. "Let. Her. Go."
Velvet looked up at the man who dared to confront the school bully. There stood a well-built boy with neatly trimmed black hair and silver eyes. Upon closer inspection of the boy, she noticed he wore a blue tie indicating he was in the year above them at Beacon. The boy had powerful broad shoulders and his thick arms could be seen through his school blazer. Velvet could tell he was strong.
Cardin turned angrily towards this sudden nuisance. "And what happens if I don't", Cardin challenged defiantly. That's when it happened. A sickening crack was heard as the boy's fist connected with Cardin's chin sending him flying towards a nearby wall with what appeared to be a broken jaw. "That's what'll happen kid."
The entire dining hall stood in awe at what had transpired as the powerful second-year walked towards Velvet. The rest of team CRDL fled towards their unconscious leader and carried him to the infirmary. Velvet stared speechless at the handsome boy who had knocked out her tormentor.
"Guys like that make me sick. Picking on a cute girl such as yourself." He said with a cheesy grin. Velvet couldn't help but giggle and blush at the boys words. "My name's Sean by the way. Silver Valens.", he said still grinning. "Velvet Scarlatina", Velvet responded shyly. "Well it was nice meeting you Velvet. I'll see you around." he said, walking towards a table next to another boy and continuing his breakfast as normal.
"Did you really have to go all out like that Silver? That kid'll need a good two or three months to recover." Silver's friend questioned. "Yeah you're right. I shouldn't have held back that much". His friend sighed at these words, "Well at least we've shown them how you and I treat bullying".
"Who was that guy?! He floored Cardin with one hit!", exclaimed Ruby. Phyrrah smirked as she turned towards Ruby. "That is Silver Valens, one of the most powerful students ever to come to Beacon. He's also my cousin".
