Ramblings on Remus: Remus sleeps like a rock. Sirius is not so lucky. Marauder Era. Remus/Sirius SLASH. Just super short and fluffy. ONESHOT, COMPLETE.
Disclaimer: *sob* They're not miiiiiiine.
Notes: So I was listening to Book 3 on tape and it occurs to me that in the beginning on the train REMUS DOESN'T WAKE UP FOR ANYTHING. It takes a fricking dementor attack to wake up Remus Lupin. I am aware that later he mentioned it was because of the moon, but obviously Remus has always been a heavy sleeper.

"Remus."
Silence went through the room. The body next to Sirius on the bed grunted but didn't move. He narrowed his grey eyes and tilted his head to the side, hearing the little snores come out of Remus' mouth and watching a tuft of hair in front of his mouth blow out, then fall back down, then blow out, then fall back down.
"Remus."
Still nothing. If the house ever burned down to the ground Remus would sleep right through the whole thing and probably drop dead because of it. Honestly. The neighbors were having a party upstairs, Sirius had been listening to bass thumping and chatter through the paper thin walls for two hours now. And it wasn't like the two of them hadn't made some base thumping noises of their own, but that had been a while ago and Sirius was tired and wanted to sleep.
"Remus."
He was like a fucking rock, just lying there like a lump, one hand squished under one cheek awkwardly so that his mouth was puckered like a fish, the other one curled into the blankets against his stomach. The moonlight played on the planes of his skin and made Sirius want to bury his nose into Remus' back and give it a good sniff. It was a dog thing, shut up.
"Remus."
He'd always been like this, ever since Sirius knew him. Back in school it had been great fun. Every night James and Sirius had snuck over to his bed, and tried everything they could to wake him up without actually making a lot of ruckus. Tickling spells, the old hand in a cup of warm water, piling things on his head, drawing on him with ink. Remus slept through almost all of it, oblivious to the world.
He gave up. Remus was not going to wake up unless Sirius shook him or yelled in his ear. And frankly, it was too much effort. Plus... he was kind of cute like that.
