Chapter 1
My name is RJ Berger. Nature made me skinny and awkward. Nature also gave me a gift, a gift that I began to accept in my sophomore year of high school. By accepting that gift, it helped me embrace others and now here is the rest of the story.
RJ Berger checked to make sure everything was packed for his small weekend trip down to see his Aunt and Uncle Chuck and Sarah Bartowski. RJ thought about his Uncle who wasn't his real Uncle but he was close enough to be considered one.
"Hey RJ" he heard Jenny say as she entered his room. "Hey Jen when did you get here" he asked surprised as she kissed him. "Just now but your mom asked me to help her with some food in the kitchen before I came up to see you" Jenny said smiling.
"I wish you could come with me now" h e said pouting at her as he watched her roll her eyes. "Come on RJ it's one day without me, I can't make it till tomorrow evening" Jen said laughing as they hugged.
"Well Chuck is taking me to some Electronic Show tonight when I get there, then tomorrow his Wife Sarah is taking me to her job and showing me around what she does because Chuck says there's a surprise in store for me" he said happily as Jen kissed him once again.
"Well I better get going if I want to make it there by six" he said as Jen released him. "Be careful, I'll call you before I leave tomorrow" Jen said as they kissed before heading down stairs.
"Here ya go son" his dad said as he tossed the car keys to him. "Thanks dad I'll take care of the car" he replied smirkingly. "Jen would you like to walk to the car with me" he asked his girlfriend who rolled her eyes once again and took his hand.
"Be safe on the way there and call me when you do get there" Jen said as they kissed before he got into the car and started his journey to Burbank.
