Another Gelphie songfic! Sort of…

Elphaba looked over her shoulder yet again, making sure that no one was following the couple as they ran. Well, it was the wizard's guards she was most worried about, but she had left them behind a while ago. Elphaba slowed to a stop as she reached a small clearing in the woods. The fog was starting to roll in. They would be safe here. She stood, trying to catch her breath.

"I think… we lost them." she panted to her companion.

"Elphaba, why did you run? They're going to think you kidnapped me!" the blonde said. Elphaba looked up at her. Glinda was standing, feet spread slightly apart and hands on her hips, giving Elphaba a harsh glare. To put it simply, she looked beautiful. Elphaba straightened up and gave the blonde a grin.

"Good."

"Good?! Elphaba, you want them to think worse of you? If that's even possible…"

"This way you won't get in trouble for this. The wicked witch kidnapped you." Glinda looked at the green girl and shook her head. She sighed, resigning herself to the fact that Elphaba was just incorrigible.

"Elphaba… why?" she said softly. Elphaba went up to the blonde and grabbed her by the shoulders. She looked down into sapphire eyes that shone even through the fog.

"Kiss me too fiercely, hold me too tight. I need help believing you're with me tonight."

"Oh, Elphie, don't start that now. I'm not in the mood." Glinda said, pushing the green girl away. She turned, crossing her arms over her chest.

"My wildest dreamings could not foresee, lying beside you with you wanting me."

Glinda sighed in exasperation, but was taken by surprise when Elphaba came up behind her and wrapped her arms around the blonde's shoulders.

"Just for this moment, as long as you're mine. I've lost all resistance and crossed some borderline. And it if turns out it's over too fast, I'll make every last moment last."

The green witch leaned down, her lips almost touching the blonde's ear.

"As long as you're mine." The blonde shivered, but pushed away from the green witch a second time. She kept her back to Elphaba, determined to hide her face (and her feelings). Elphaba could tell that Glinda didn't love her the way she used to. Or she just didn't want to. So, Elphaba took her hat off and gave the blonde a mock bow.

"I see I've made a mistake. I'm sorry. I'll take my leave now, Miss Glinda." Elphaba straightened up and put her hat back on. She turned and started to leave, but she felt a hand grab her arm.

"Maybe I'm brainless, maybe I'm wise. But you've got me seeing through different eyes. Somehow I've fallen under your spell. And somehow I'm feeling it's up that I fell."

Elphaba turned back to the blonde, taken by surprise. Even after all these years…

"Every moment, as long as you're mine. I'll wake up my body and make up for lost time." The blonde slipped her hand into the green witch's, smiling at her.

"Say there's no future for us as a pair."

"And though I may know, I don't care. Just for this moment, as long as you're mine. Come be how you want to and see how bright we shine. Borrow the moonlight until it is through. And know I'll be here holding you. As long as you're mine." Elphaba pulled Glinda close to her and closed the gap between them, pressing her lips to the blonde's. They pulled back and Glinda looked at the green girl.

"What is it?" Elphaba smiled and shook her head. She tucked a blonde curl behind the good witch's ear.

'"It's just… for the first time, I feel… wicked."

Hope you enjoyed it! And I hope I didn't destroy that song… anyway, please review! Thanks!
