Worse Than A Bullet

Today at the office, everyone was on edge.

Well, that wasn't exactly unheard of, but today was worse than usual.

Apparently, Mustang had blown off work to go on a date with twins. Riza Hawkeye was not happy to say the least. The men sat silently in their seats, Fuery hopelessly trying to fix another radio, and Breda signing papers and chewing absently on a sandwich. Falman nervously read over neglected reports and Havoc sat uncomfortably in the corner, squirming in his wheelchair. The sound of the door slamming into the wall caused all of the men to jump in their chairs.

"WHERE THE HELL IS THAT BASTARD COLONEL!" a short blonde boy yelled. Edward's eyes darted all over the room, searching for Mustang and seeing if anyone would answer his question. Riza cocked her gun and turned to Ed, anger and rage emanating in waves around her.

"He's on a date. Should we bring him back?" -click- her gun loaded, she strode out of the office. Ed followed not far behind her, for his last mission also left him pissed off at the Colonel. Al was left standing in the doorway, absently sending his prayers to Mustang. Havoc rolled up beside him and muttered, "Should we follow?"

Luckily, Roy had noticed Hawkeye and Fullmetal looking for him. So, instead of going to face them and suffer the consequences, he ran off with his dates. Which was sure to make things that much worse.

"So, ladies, where should we go next?" he asked his dates. They laughed and held onto his arms, lost in his obvious charm.

"Wherever you think is best, Roy." They replied, in exact unison. Roy couldn't help but smirk. He continued down the street, women clinging to his sides, and subordinates off looking for him somewhere. He was overly smug, thinking he'd snuck off, until a shout rang out and something heavy jumped on his back.

"DAD!" Roy froze. Fullmetal!

"Hey, dad! We were looking everywhere for you!" Ed shouted again, giggling childishly and smirking to himself. Ha, you bastard! Roy could only stand in horror as Fullmetal continued to squeeze him and his beautiful twins walked off without him.

Al and the rest of Mustang's crew stood far from the two alchemist's, watching in complete shock as Edward giggled and hugged the Colonel. They didn't understand what could've possessed the elder Elric to act in that way-unless he was on drugs-until they noticed the two women's hasty retreat. Riza stood to the side, gently putting away her gun. Al asked her quietly, "Weren't you going to shoot him or something?" Hawkeye only smiled and replied in a casual tone, "For Roy, what just happened is worse than getting shot by me."

Yes, i know it was short. But oh well, it was fun to write =3 Review please! But no flames, you don't want Mustang to be mad at you for stealing his flame alchemy.
