Rain
Clara sat on the bench in the park, rain pouring down on her, but she didn't even bother to put up her umbrella as she slowly got soaked.
She'd done this, every week or so now since Danny died, sitting and thinking and dancing in the rain that poured frequently in London.
It was her way of saying "I'm sorry," to all those times that she'd ever lied to him about what she got up to.
But it was also freeing, in a way.
The rain was all the tears she wanted to cry but didn't, and she danced in the freedom that she had gotten from finally telling him the truth.
Being honest.
Clara smiled a bit as she picked up her umbrella, her dressed plastered to her skin by the rain.
Her lips parted into a proper grin as she laughed, dancing in the rain just as freely as she felt.
She found peace in the rain.
It was a freeing forgiveness for all that she'd done.
