AN: Hey guys. I'm not really sure what to say about this one. This was written with someone in mind and that person knows who they are. But I still hope you all like it.

AN2: Oh yeah and these characters aren't mine and all that good stuff.

Every night Callie prays. Soft, whispered prayers that she hopes make it all the way to God's ears. She thanks Him for his wonderful girl He brought into her life. She thanks Him for their love. She asks Him to protect her because they've both seen what a terrible place this world can be.

She never brings up her faith to Arizona. Doesn't ask her to go to church with her. Doesn't bring up the words she reads every morning. Arizona was raised to believe in country, not God and she's okay with that. Callie loves her anyway.

She knows that He approves, even if others don't. And she loves Him even more because of it. So every day her faith grows stronger. Slowly those feelings of anger and guilt are replaced by feelings of love and warmth and forgiveness. So every day she prays.

Arizona doesn't say anything, but she hears Callie's prayers. Intentionally stills her breathing so she can make out the words. And every day she sees that indisputable faith brought to life. Arizona has never met anyone whose faith is as strong as Callie's.

And even if she has never experienced faith like Callie has, sometimes Arizona thanks God for Callie.
