"Boss, we have a complication in the Lt. Johnson case." Tony said as Gibbs walked into the bullpen. "And that is..?" Gibbs asked stopping mid stride and turning around. "Well it seems that he was the third victim of a serial killer who has killed four people so far. The first was in Las Vegas, the second in New York, and the latest happened three days ago in Miami." Gibbs stood their and considered what to do with the situation. "Are the other three victims civilians?" he asked, fixing Tony with an intense stare. "Yes boss." Tony answered, avoiding Gibbs' gaze. "Well if only one victim was military… Contact Vegas, New York, and Miami and offer to help them solve the case Dinozzo. And be back by Monday!" And with that, Gibbs went to go see what Abby had for him.
"I can get those numbers for you." McGee offered. "No thanks Probe, I got them." Tony said as he took out his cell phone. "Wolf" "Hey Ryan" Tony said with a smile as he sat in his chair. "Hey Tony! How are you?" "I'm good, listen, I was wondering if you're working on the Malcovy case." Tony asked. "Yeah, I was just reviewing the evidence. Why?" "Well it just so happens that a guy in New York, Vegas, and a Lt. here in DC were killed with the same MO." Tony said with a smile. "Oh" "Yeah, I'm thinking serial killer." "So how can I help?" "Well I was thinking of calling Greg and Danny and shipping us all your way." Tony answered. "Should probably call the BAU if it's a serial" "Good ideal" Tony commented knowing Ryan didn't get very many. "I'll get H to call everyone with formal requests." "I'll let you deal with that." Tony decided. "When will you arrive?" "Be their later today" "See you then" "OK bye." Tony hung up.
"Who're Ryan, Greg and Danny?" "Friends McGee." Tony said in slight frustration. "But Gibbs told you to-" Tim shut up at the glare from Tony who had already dialed a second number. "Come on, answer." "Messer" 'Can't CSI's answer their phones a little more politely' Tony though. "Hey Danny, its Tony" "Tony! How are ya?" "I'm good. Did you work the…" Tony looked through his notes, "the Lenard case?" "Lenard? Yeah, it went cold, why?" "Well it's a serial and the latest vic is in Miami." "Ok, so you callin' to tell me to pack?" "Your boss should be getting a call with a formal request in the next hour." Tony laughed. "Sounds good to me. See ya on the beach." "See ya."
"Since when do you have contacts?" "It's called friends, Ziva. Something you wouldn't know about." Tony commented distractedly as he dialed the last number. "The all knowing all power full Greg, how can I help you Tony." 'Well at least it's different' "Hey Greg, you going to Miami?" Tony laughed. "Yep, I was just on y way to pack." "Don't forget you sun screen and bathing suit."
As Tony closed his cell phone, the director walked down the stairs. "Agents Dinozzo, I just received a call from a Lt. Horatio Caine, in Miami, requesting your help on a case of thirs that is related to the Lt. Johnson case. Your flight leaves in an hour. Be back Monday. Even if the case is unsolved." And with that, she walked away. "Well Probe, Ziva, if you'll excuse me, I have to go pack."
