I don't own Sailor Moon or Vitamin C's song. I just borrowed it so HA!
:Sticks tongue out:
And we talked all night about the rest of our lives,
And where we're gonna be when we turn 25.
I keep thinking that times will never change,
Keep on thinking things will always be the same.
High school quickly came to an end for Usagi and the girls. They we're now 18 and ready to go their separate ways. Ami had applied to a college in France, Makoto was moving to America, Minako planned to go back to England, and Rei was moving back in with her father. Usagi seemed to remain the only one in Tokyo.
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back,
No more hanging around cause we're on a different track.
And if you got something you need to say,
You better say right now cause you don't have another day.
Cause we're moving on & we can't slow down,
These memories are playing like a film without sound.
But this night the Senshi planned to have a Good-bye Party. They would have fun in the few precious moments they had left and Usagi felt determined to enjoy them while she had the chance. "No tears," she told herself as she approached Rei's house.
As we go own, we remember,
All the times we had together.
And as our lives change, come whatever,
We will still be friends forever.
The party was great. The girls exchanged gifts and funny anecdotes they all shared. They recalled many of their Senshi adventures and hardships. Then later they all exchanged gifts and promises to always keep in touch.
Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now,
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end,
And suddenly it's like we're women and men.
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us around,
Will these memories fade when I leave this town?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye,
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly.
Usagi never forgot that evening and the next morning watched her friends go to their homes and lives. Though they we're now separated physically they still we're united spiritually.
Well people what did you think of that? Remember to read and respond!
