Prequel
"Why were you hanging out with them?" A boy shouted at a shorter girl. The blond glanced up at her boyfriend before looking away.
"Um...Hayner...and Pence...are my history partners..." She whispered, trailing off. She flinched when his fist hit the wall next to her.
"Switch partners! I do not want you around them!"
"It's to late for that! He won't let me sw..." She was cut off by the back of a hand to her face. Her dark green eyes widened and she stumbled backwards. He looked surprised also and apologized...
That was how it started.
She forgave him.
Then it started happening again and again. She didn't answer her phone of the first three rings; he'd assume she was cheating.
Then she was free. The reasons were horrible, but she was finally away from her stalkerish obsessive boyfriend, from her sad mother, and her angry step father.
She remembered; walking in to that room with her little sister, to find them. Her mother shot, her stepfather crying on the floor. She remembered one of them screaming. She remembered him turning on the younger girl, prepared to shoot them to give him time to get away. She remembered everything.
But mostly she remembered blood.
