Nao's POV

I looked up from the book I was reading to my clock three… two… one and the annoying tone of my alarm goes off and I start to get ready for school. I rub my eyes as I take out a blue oversize hoodie, black boy shorts, and knee high socks. I then fumble my way into the bathroom. I brush my teeth and comb through my short brown hair and get it to the most tame I can… though I still have cowlicks here and there. I walk into the kitchen of the small two bedroom apartment and look at the note that was left on the fridge:

Nao-chan

I had to go to work early again, don't forget to eat breakfast (-(

'Really Mom…' I walk out of my apartment and go upstairs to my best friend Haruhi Fujioka's house. "HARU-CHAAAN!" I yell out, and soon after hear footsteps coming towards the door.

"Hi Nao…" Haru says looking down at me looking down into my emerald eyes. Yes looking down I'm 4'3 get over it people.

"Haruhi Fujioka… what in Satan's name are you wearing… and dear god don't even get me started on your glasses and hair…"

"Yesterday at the supermarket a kid from the neighbor hood stuck gum in my and I couldn't bother to take the time to take it out, so I cut it all off." Haruhi sighs.

"And the glasses?"

Another sigh, "I dropped one of my contacts into the bathroom sink this morning so I just used these glasses…"

"Hmmm… Whatever we should get to school…" I yawn out

"Yeah.."

Haruhi's POV

"It's pink…" I mumble, I mean who the hell's Idea was it to paint the school pink. I mean I heard the saying 'let's paint the town red' but the school pink... HELL NO. Nao giggles putting his over sized hoodie sleeve over his mouth, and girls around us blush.

"SO KAWAII!~" A majority of girls cry out and Nao pulls on my sleeve.

"Haru we should look for the office now, I feel like if we don't we'll be late for class…"

Nao's POV

I look around and see girls fangirling over something and I walk up to the closest group and give them a closed eye smile "Excuse me Ladies can you show me and my friend to the main office… I'm kinda lost" I end off with a pout.

"KAWAII~" 2/3 of them screech and one of them kindly agrees with a blush on her face and I give her a hug of gratitude.

"Okk Haru this marks our first day of rich kids school!" I yell out after we leave the office with our timetables.

"What's the big deal anyway Nao..."

"Apparently around here we are called 'commoners'"

"Really…?"

"Ya" I shrug

"You're going to sleep through this aren't you.."

"What can I say I got hit with that insomnia last night." I reply before the teacher asks us to introduce ourselves.

"Ah.. I'm Nao Usami and this is my best friend Haruhi Fujioka!~" I introduce us to every one, and now… questions.
