Chapter 1: Ranma's Announcement
"Oh I'm sooo happy!" Soun said, hearing the announcement he'd been waiting for, " This is the happiest day of my life! So you're finally getting married!"
"Yea I guess." Ranma said, who wasn't feeling so good at that moment because Akane decided to cook a "Special" breakfast, which he thought that she was trying to poison him before the wedding.
"YOU GUESS?! I thought we agreed! You even proposed to me! Urgh!" Akane screamed as she picked up the table, "RAN-MAAAAA!"
"Geez Akane! Lighten up will ya!"
"Yes Akane. Calm down…"
"Oh a wedding would be perfect." Kasumi said. Kasumi, being her usual good-natured self, was happy even though Akane took over the kitchen to "cook".
Genma started tearing up." Finally Tendo, We'll be happy men."
"Yes Saotome, very happy indeed." They both started crying emotionally.
"Oh geez…" Ranma and Akane muttered together. They both knew their parents were emotional but this was ridiculous.
"Well maybe the wedding would be perfect except for one thing." Akane said, quietly and slowly pulling a bucket of water out from under the table.
"Oh and what's that?" Ranma asked curiously.
Akane smiled deviously, "THIS!!!!" she splashed the cold water onto Ranma. He turned into his slim, built, sexy, and rather angry(at the moment) female version of himself.
"AKANE! What did you do that for?"
"Oh sorry,Ranma.." Akane said sarcastically, still grinning. She took the kettle off the table and poured the boiling( and I mean hot) water all over Ranma, turning "her" back into a "him".
"Grrr… (I should hurt you Akane) Well, we gotta announce this to everyone else." Ranma said nervously, hoping he wouldn't get killed by Shampoo or Ukyou (or even Ryoga)
"Oh that's right! Well I-" Akane stopped mid-sentence, but for good reason because someone crashed right through the wall! It was none other than Shampoo.
"Yo Shampoo, Don't they have doors where you come from?" Ranma said in way of a greeting.
"Nihao! Loving wife make special meal for Ranma!" Shampoo said, her eyes shining with her love for Ranma.
"Uh…. Shampoo…. I gotta tell you somethin'."
"What you tell me? Wo da Airen ."
"Uh…well….you see….uh.."
Akane pushed Ranma away from Shampoo. "Ranma and I are getting married." She said, angered at Shampoo.
Shampoo was shocked. "What you saying? Ranma and Violent Girl…..MARRY?" Shampoo yelled, disbelieving.
Ranma saw the tears forming. He felt sorry for her but … , "Yea Shampoo…I'm sorry."
Shampoo's tears were flowing now. "Why you do this to Shampoo? Bie Liao ." she whispered. She ran out the way she came.
Ranma wanted to get her back. "Shampoo! Wait!"
"Oh my!" Kasumi said.
"Well in that case, you can go on with the wedding preparations." Soun said happily.
"Not yet….Gotta tell Ukyou." He said. He also thought, And Ryoga
"Oh yes, you must break off the engagement with her too…unfortunately." Genma said.
Ranma started for the door." I'll be back soon!" He said running out the door.
"Just watch out for that spatula Ranma!" Akane yelled after him.
