No matter how it may seem, Dean was not as oblivious as he let on. He could see the way his brother stared at the archangel whenever Sam thought no one was looking. The way his eyes would light up when the ex-trickster entered the room and lean just that much closer when Gabe was near; how Sam laughed at every stupid joke and listened just that much more intently when the angel had something to say. Yes, Dean noticed long ago that his brother was in love with an angel.
He just had yet to realize that he was too.
