Sam sat on the couch in the living room of Peter's house, bored out of his mind. The cable guy hadn't come by yet to set up the TV and he had finished all his video games. Aunt May wasn't home so he couldn't hang out with her.
"AVA!" Sam yelled.
A few seconds later, Ava came down the stairs. "Sam, I've got a big test tomorrow I need to study for. What is it?"
"Come here." When Ava stayed where she was at the base of the stairs, Sam pouted at her. "Pleeeease?"
Ava rolled her eyes and smiled at Sam as she walked over to him. As soon as she was close, Sam grabbed her arm and pulled her into his lap. She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. "So why did you call me down here?" She laid small kisses on Sam's nose and cheeks while she waited for a response.
"I'm bored." Sam frowned as he pulled Ava closer to him.
"Well, we'll be back on the Helicarrier tomorrow. There's lots to do there." Ava played with Sam's hair as they talked.
"Ugh, lots of training and not much else. Besides, I really like it here. We get way more time together and Aunt May is really cool."
Ava thought for a moment. "Maybe we could ask Peter to wait a few days before telling May that we have somewhere to stay."
"That would be awesome." Sam smiled at her. She smiled back and leaned forward to kiss him. He moved one of his hands to rest on her leg while his other hand stayed on the small of her back. Ava bit down gently on his bottom lip, eliciting a small moan from him. Sam moved his hand slowly up her thigh in return.
Peter came down the stairs and immediately let out a groan of disgust. "You guys! Not on the couch! Ugh, gross." He crossed through the room and into the kitchen.
"Sorry!" Ava said to Peter as she hopped off Sam's lap. Sam whined at the loss. "Gimme an hour to study and then you can come up to my room, deal?"
"Deal," Sam replied with a smirk. Ava leaned down to give him one last kiss before she went back upstairs.
