Chapter 1
After Haddie,Alex,Amber and her date leave for the prom Sarah leaves Adam and Kristina's house and goes back home to the guest house locking herself inside and gets into some sweats and sits down on the couch and sends all her pictures of the kids in thier prom outfits she took to Seth. During one of Seth's songs his phone vibrates and he pulls it from his pocket and opens the pictures and smiles and slides the phone back into his pocket until the end of his song then goes into the back and calls Sarah.
"Seth?" she answers
"hey, so she looked so pretty." he tells her
"I know didn't she?" Sarah says excitedly
"I'm just so proud of her wanting to go to the tonight." Sarah tells him
"so, how is she?" he wonders
"ugh well not so good." she tell him
"why what's going on?" he wonders getting concerened
"well, sweetie she didn't get into Berkeley and I wasn't the first person to find out that she didn't get in." she tells him
"what?" he questions
"Julia told me and then I confronted her about it." she tells him
"And then what happened?" he wonders
"she got all emotional about it and she said that she didn't want to disappoint me." she tells him
"oh, wow and what did you say?" he wonders
"I told her that she could never disappoint me but she needs to igure out what the next plan is." she tells him
Seth gets silent
"Seth?" she questions to make sure he's still there
"I'm still here go on." he tells her
