Something I dreamt up on night and thought it would be a good story.

Kyle has just gotten back out of prison. Horatio gets suspicious when Kyle receives DVD messages from a 13 year old girl called Nichole. Kyle doesn't talk about her much until he gets a message saying that if he doesn't give himself up she dies.

Nichole

(Chap 1: Message 1)

Kyle walked out into the sunlight, which caused him to squint. He smiled as he saw Horatio, his dad, standing at the bottom of the stone steps with his black car. Kyle couldn't believe that he was finally going home.

He was a little pail dew to the fact he had spent a lot of his time in his cell. He had actually made friends with some of the guys in the jail, who he at least hoped had changed. Two of which he knew had changed, he was sure, because they had also been let out on the account of good behaviour. The two other men came out behind him and patted his back, saying goodbye before going there separate ways.

"Let's go home Kyle." Horatio smiled and let his son in the car.

Kyle sat on he huge white sofa with a sigh. He was a little over whelmed at the size of the house. He hadn't ever imagined such a big home.

"Kyle, is there something that I should know about?" Horatio sat beside him.

"No why?" Kyle's confusion was genuine, he could tell.

"You've only just gotten here and already you have a letter from England-"

"Oh, that. I know someone in England, Nichole." Kyle smiled and took the letter containing a DVD.

"Who's the girl?"

"I just told you."

"How do you know her?"

"… it's nothing."

"Kyle, I can tell when your lying, you can tell me."

"… look, I really don't want to talk about it, ok." Kyle turned away and played the DVD. Horatio decided not to push the subject any further.

A 13 year old girl with short brown, wavy hair and black eyes, wearing a gray hooded sweater appeared on the screen.

"Hi Kyle. I heard from the prison that your coming out today and I hope your ok and have a safer home with your dad. …

…I'm on the run. I have been for a few years now. Not long after you had to leave us I had to go to a knew family. I put up with them beating me most of the time, but I couldn't take it anymore. My social worker's the only one who can help me gat a new family, but she's disappeared.

I'll be staying in touch. My only regret of leaving my abusive foster parents is that I won't be able to receive anything from you.

If your wondering how I'm getting food to eat and clothes, I get clothes from a charity shop, a bit sad I know. I've been planning this for ages, I've done some jobs and still do and use that to get food and stuff.

I have blankets, a blow up bed, sleeping bag and a tent so you don't have to worry about me getting cold or anything.

I'm fine and honestly loving travelling around . I came here with my family and ran (laughs). I can't tell you where I am, but some where in California.

See ya."

And the screen went blank.

For the next few chapters it's just going to be short ones about the messages Nichole sends. Will get better soon though.
