AUTHOR'S NOTES = Everyone knows that the love story of James and Lily was a classic love story. He loves her, she hates him, and they fall in love. But, did you ever question why Lily was ever mad at James in the first place?
It couldn't be because he was immature. Maybe, just maybe, it was because it was forbidden for him to fall in love with her. And I'm not talking about blood purity.
OFF LIMITS
PROLOGUE
Godric Gryffindor was the only one who knew of the real reason Salazar Slytherin left Hogwarts, and it was not because he only wanted purebloods to study at their esteemed school, but, it was the reason on why he wanted muggleborns and half bloods banned.
Salazar Slytherin, a pure blood, got Michaela Evans, a half-blood, pregnant. Not only was that the only reason, Salazar was Michaela's potions professor.
"You had gotten Evans, what?"
"I'm sorry, okay. I didn't mean it okay. Besides, I'm only four years her senior," argued Salazar. "In addition, Michaela already agreed to sever all ties with me."
"What are you implying, old friend?" said Gryffindor as he tried to analyze the situation.
Salazar took a deep sigh as he ran his hands through his raven black hair. "She has approved of an abortion."
Godric looked at his friend, "I'm sorry." The two had a few minutes of silence, until Gryffindor broke it with a question, "If all is settled between the two of you, why did you come here then?"
"Because, I couldn't leave Hogwarts without saying goodbye to my best friend," sighed Salazar.
"What?"
"I'm leaving Hogwarts tonight my dear friend. I can't stand the torture of seeing Michaela anymore. Do take care of young Francis for me," said Salazar, referring to his baby Basilisk.
Godric sighed, "As you wish my dear friend, is that all?"
"No, I want you to keep this meeting and everything we've discussed a secret."
And so it was, the real reason Salazar Slytherin left Hogwarts and Godric was heard saying, "If a professor ever fall in love with a student again, I give them all my blessings for it to flourish and be known as the greatest love story the wizarding world has ever known. I swear on it."
