Summery: When Naruto left with Jiraiya to train for two years, he meets a young girl that Jiraiya has been taking care of. He knows nothing about her but her name and the fact that she is a shinobi of her own kind, being from no villages that are known of. The more time spent with her, the more he feels for her. What can become of this odd couple?
Chapter One: Enter: Seishingakure!
Naruto walks through the streets of a town, looking at the people working their hardest to make a living. Kinda reminds me of Konoha… He hears someone call out his name and turns around. He sees a small girl running towards him, a brown bag in her arms. She has wild, flaming red hair and emerald eyes. She is wearing a strapless white sundress, that has a gold buckle in the middle of the chest. She catches up with him, panting.
"You could have…slowed down…you know." He looks at her, an amused expression crossing his face.
"Kaiya, you didn't have to run. I would have waited anyways!" She looks up at him, still bent over and panting, and smiles.
"I know. It's just more fun this way!" Naruto holds out his hand.
"Here, let me help you with that." She lets him take the bag from her hands. He then hold out his free hand and helps her to an erect position.
"Thank you, Naruto-kun." He smiles at her sweetly.
"No problem. Come on, Pervy Sage is probably wondering where we are."
"Yes!" They start to walk down the street, watching the people around them bustle and work. Naruto looks at the sky while he walks.
"It's getting dark out already, hey?" Lorelai nods her head.
"Yes, it is. I love it though," she spreads her arms and spins through the streets. And that's why I love you…He jogs to catch up to her.
"Wait up!" She turns around to look at him, her hands behind her back.
"I'm waiting…And now I'm gone!" She turns on her heel and bolts down the street. Naruto sighs. That's ironic…I want her, and yet she always runs…He shakes his head and keeps walking. She loves to run and loves heights…what a weird girl. He looks up to see her standing in front of him.
"Are you okay, Naruto-kun?" He nods.
"Yes; I'm fine." She goes on her tippy-toes, which brings her to eye level.
"Are you sure?" He pats her on the head, then ruffles her hair. She swats his hand away, and glares at him while fixing it.
"Don't do that, silly! Your going to muss my hair!" Naruto laughs at her full force.
"Don't be silly; your hair is wild enough as it is." Playfully, she punches him in the shoulder.
"Um, ow?" She sticks her tongue out at him. He just smiles at her and takes her hand. They walk through the town like that, not noticing the looks they were attracting. They walk until they reach a small hotel, and walk into it. The room has only a small table that is close to the floor and three mats for sleeping on. Jiraiya is sleeping on one of the mats, a half-filled bottle of sake in one of his hands. Naruto's head drops.
"Of course." Kaiya laughs and pats his shoulder.
"Its alright; he's not too bad." Naruto smiles at her then puts the brown bag on the low table. He then turns around, his smile growing.
"Lets go somewhere. Just you and me." Kaiya looks at him funny.
"Like a….date?"
