Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, the Powerpuff Girls, were relaxing at home on October 25, 2013. It had been 11 days since they'd last seen Littlefoot the Longneck and his mother. They decided to use the time machine Professor Utonium had invented to travel back to the dinosaur times. Bubbles set the switches for 70 million years ago. There was a grinding sound, a flash of light, and the Girls were gone.
Meanwhile, in the Great Valley, Littlefoot and his friends, Cera, a yellow Threehorn; Ducky, a green Swimmer; Petrie, a brown Flyer; and Spike, a green Spiketail, were running around happily. None of them knew that the Girls were about to arrive.
Just then, somewhere in the Mysterious Beyond, a flash of light announced the Girls' arrival. They found themselves in the place where the great earthquake had hit. They were about to give up and return home, when a loud roar split the air. A Sharptooth approached from behind. It had seen the Girls, and knew that they were food. The Girls immediately went into action. While Blossom distracted the mighty carnivore, Bubbles and Buttercup knocked it out.
The Girls, using their super hearing, picked up the sounds of Littlefoot playing with his friends. The sounds were coming from the northeast, so they flew in that direction. Fortunately, no Sharpteeth threatened them, having heard about these girls who'd temporarily defeated the strongest of their kind.
Author's note: In the next chapter, the Girls arrive at the Great Valley and are reunited with Littlefoot, while meeting his friends! Danger lurks just beyond the Great Wall, however!
