A little hope
It had been a very long week, days passed by one after another, the weather hasn't been the brightest, well it was Bludhaven after all, fall was soon to be over another season will show up again, another year would end. For many citizens that meant the arrival of new hopes, new horizons to see, and maybe new adventures to do, after all everyone has some plans for the holidays, especially the Grayson's, who had recently gotten married not long ago in a private party only with their closest friends, never wanting anything too big to avoid the press, after all, not every day Gotham's prince gets married with a hot super model. Well they were a happy couple of husband and wife, a happy couple of superheroes Bludhaven could ask for.
Today was a cold day, one those you can find in Bludhaven with a lot of humidity in the air feeling the little rain that makes you colder than ever, and also it was Thanks Giving day, a day you could see all your loved ones and share memories and funny moments, this year Kory and Dick, had been invited by Bruce Wayne to his dinner, though she had met his father-in-law for many years, he would make her feel intimidated by his presence, but she had to be there, it was going to be a special reunion only for the Bat-family members.
It was six o'clock when her alarm ringed, being a super model, a wife, and a heroine wasn't always easy, but it was something she enjoyed to keep her mind busy during the day, in her agenda was planned a photoshoot for Elle's cover magazine, she woke up quickly she didn't want to waste too much time, she had to be ready for today's events. Once she reached the shower she found her husband who was half naked, wearing only a towel, he also had to be at Wayne's Tower early for a reunion.
"Wow, excuse me? Where do you think you're going?" he said taking Starfire's arm with a smirk on his face, revealing he wanted to do much more than just taking a shower.
"Richard! let me go, I do not have time for the playing" she said hurried.
"No, until you say "Nightwing is the most awesome and handsome hero and I don't know what I'd do without him" he said playing, most of the times it was hard to find this side of Richard, he rather seriousness after all, but sometimes being married to a happy person like Starfire or rather Kory, make him feel alive and full of emotions he could only feel with her.
"Richard, move!" she said with a glare on her green eyes revealing that she was annoyed, she enjoyed been playful, but there was so much to do today.
"Ok, woke up with the wrong foot, I think" he said, "But I also need to be ready, and I got here first, but we can share, and we can both taking a bath" he said rolling his eyes.
"Fine, I will take the shower with you" she said, taking away her pajamas revealing her toned body,
"You're gorgeous" he said,
"Of course I am" she thought first to herself, "Do you think so?" she said with an innocent voice
"Yes, you do, You're my beautiful star, who gives me the energy to wake up every day, my angel who saves after a battle, my lady who need her gentleman to protect her, you are my world, my everything" he said in the most romantic voice he could say never taking his eyes from hers as the water was falling on their bodies.
"Oh, Richard, you always know what to say, to make my heart melt" she said giving him a hug and laying her head on his bare chest.
"and all the things I have planned for tonight would make more than your heart melt, babe" he said whispering with a seductive tone in her left ear, making her blush a little.
"Richard! You really woke up in a good mood" she said surprised.
"I can't avoid it, when you are married with the hottest heroin you have to make some moves" he said with a smile.
