A/N: This is the new and improved chapter one. It is the same chapter basically, just edited to sound better. Thank you so much for your patience and sticking with me. I be doing the same thing for chapter two and hope to have that up in a couple of days. I have chapter three basically written, I just need to edit to edit it. Have fun reading!
Harry laid on his bed and allowed his mind to wonder. A couple of months before his friends followed his lead as he led them blindly into a carefully laid trap at the Ministry for Magic. He was mad at himself for allowing himself to be tricked into believing his vision and how it lead to Sirius being killed by Bellatrix. He tried to kill Bellatrix but couldn't even bring himself to use the Unforgivable curse, Crucio, convincing himself that he could never use one of the curses no matter the situation. However, looking back he almost wished he could have stopped her somehow. He missed Sirius so much. Sirius was the closest thing that Harry had had to a father and now he didn't even have him. He mourned all the things that Sirius and he never got to do together, include moving in like Sirius had promised. Harry had made a promise to avenge his death though and he vowed to keep that promise, not matter what.
However, he had to think of the positives, because the negatives might bring him down too far. Lucius Malfoy had gotten in trouble with the Ministry and had lost his standing in society. Harry took that as a step in the right direction, having someone like Malfoy out of power. This did mean that this would mean that things at school with Draco would not go very well. Harry feared that this year's bullying would be particularly ruthless.
Finally, Harry was glad that the Ministry finally accepted that Lord Voldemort was back. With this information confirmed Umbridge was fired and all teachers had been reinstated back at Hogwarts, including Professor Dumbledore as Headmaster. Despite all the good that happened, Harry knew that things would change at Hogwarts.
Harry was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts by a load knock at the door downstairs. He groaned audibility as his uncle's voice traveled up the stairs to his room.
"Boy, come get the door!" yelled Uncle Vernon from the living room. Harry slowly got off his bed and descended the stairs.
He approached the door and called to the person on the other side, "Who is it?" He got no answer.
He tried again, "Who is it?" Again, no answer. He opened the door with caution and saw a hooded character on the other side. He appeared to be badly injured and he obviously had a hard time standing up straight as he was leaning against the doorframe.
The hooded person looked up and looked Harry in the eyes. Harry recognized him straight away. He gasped, "Oh no," he said to himself quietly.
