When was the last time I, Gamagoori Ira, had loved someone as austere, cold, unapologetic, having this mysterious aura written all over her face with a questionable intent such as her, Kiryuin Satsuki?

Two years back, I was the kind of man who had been living in my own privileged world of women swooning over my status; if not all but some. Naturally, I was inclined towards immersing myself with those who wore the best dresses, the most exquisite jewelleries, perfumes and designer handbags, and of course, highly sociable and inviting. That was the definition of classy, to me, before this woman ostentatiously integrated herself into my life, prolly wanting to make me one of her puppets.

I wouldn't say she wasn't lofty, I recognized the elevated fashion prerequisites she possessed from head to toe, her vast expenses, her BMW, also the books she reads, et cetera. But amidst the brief time I have given to suit her likings (I guess), no doubt, I was in love. We've slept with each other a couple of times when it's necessary, but it wasn't the physical connection that served as the base of it all. I was in love with the way she looked at the skies and muttered, in her usual icy tone voice,

"Things aren't always what they seem to be. Be alert, even in your most vulnerable state."

Also the other random connotations of life she would narrate whenever we spent movie nights together at the Kiryuin penthouse. I loved her even when she rarely ever smiles in formal parties, or giving random diplomatic speeches whenever I did something repulsive (The infamous: Ask Not The Sparrow How The Eagle Soars), the way she would elegantly sip her tea while writing journals and told me to give her some space. I fell for her stern antics, and needless to say there was no turning back, until she decided to move out of town (or in her terms: Conquering), leaving fate to conclude the outcome of this brief rendezvous. I acquiesced, without further ado.

It was the last time I've witnessed a woman as solid, unperturbed by almost anything even me, always had her life intact and wholly subjugated to meet her exalted standards. She deserves all the honour and respect I can give as a precocious adherent to every fiber of her existence, and soon, to serve her for the rest of my life.
