QUIET LOVE
Starscream loved evenings like this. He lay in his quarters and stared at the ceiling. What only a few knew was that the seeker had screens at his quarters' ceiling that always showed the sky. Mostly the night sky with all the stars.
Starscream loved the sky. He was a jet so it was his territory but he knew that for some it meant longing for the ground but not for him. He hated the ground. He couldn't fly and was bound to stone. Water was even worse.
"Starscream?"
The voice made Starscream turn his head.
"Hey, Soundwave."
"Wanna play?"
"Play?"
"Yeah... No interest?"
Soundwave's voice, that only he knew, sounded sad and a bit scared.
Starscream cursed silently.
"Which game?"
"A card game the humans call rummy."
"Rummy? You'll have to teach me in that."
Soundwave put the small table in front of the berth before he sat down on a chair. Starscream just stayed on the berth.
"Well everyone gets 13 cards and you have to try to get 40 points. I'll show you an example."
Soundwave laid four cards on the table.
"These are the ten of spades, the jack of spades, the lady of spades and the king of spades. The pictures count as ten points and the ten of course too. Understood?"
Starscream nodded.
"So it has to be the same colour and symbol?"
"Yes. And this is a joker. It can be every card you want but if the other one wins it counts twenty points."
"Why do you have to count when the other has won?"
"You count all cards and play many games and then you look who has lesser points and this person has won."
"Aha... And what about this deck?"
"The first card will be shown and then you take one from the deck or the one the other laid down. Depending on what you need."
"Okay... I think I understood it."
"Good!"

They played many games and had a lot of fun.
"The game is good but I'm tired Soundwave. Why don't we stop for today?"
"You really liked it?"
"Yeah. Thanks for showing me!"
Starscream pulled Soundwave into a short kiss.
The spy seemed to beam with joy and collected the cards and put them back into the package.
"Stay here?"
"Yep... If you want..."
"You stupid cute bot!"
Starscream pulled Soundwave beside himself and put his arms around the faceless bot.
"I love playing with you but next time I chose the game okay?"
"Then we will end in the berth again but I won't complain, naughty boy."
"You know me too well."
They both laughed before going into recharge.
