Hokuto woke, sweat dripping from her forehead. She had been moaning in pain, which made her throat sore and horse.
Suddenly Hokuto felt a warm touch. She turned away to see Subaru, looking at her with tear filled eyes.
Subaru wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her shoulder.
"It will be alright. It was a nightmare, it will soon disappear from your mind," He said in a comforting tone
Hokuto looked at him and smiled.
"I'll be alright!! Just promise me this; never let me drown or be killed!" Hokuto exclaimed.
Subaru smiled at her joke. He looked at her and nodded.
"I promise," he said softly.
She was drowning. Drowning in blood. Her own blood.
Her blood was building up in her heart, making it suffocating it. But it didn't stay like that for a long length of time.
In a sudden movement a hand ripped through her ribcage and pierced her heart. Crimson blood flowed freely from her body, draining her from life.
Hokuto moaned and woke up once more. She looked down at Subaru and sighed. She brushed his face and smiled at the look of his gentle face.
Hokuto got to her feet and walked over to her desk. She turned and looked at Subaru, and became completely lost in his features. Before she knew it, she had climbed back into bed and was fast asleep.
Hokuto stared into Seishiro's eyes: One milky white, and the other one dark red.
"You broke our promise," Hokuto said.
Seishiro looked at her.
"You said that you wouldn't take Subaru far away. He's in his room right now. You took his mind. It might not come back," Hokuto said.
Pierce my suffocating heart
"I know what the sakurazukamori is. So kill me," Hokuto dared. Seishiro raised his arm and his hand ripped through her ribcage and pierced her heart.
"Su...... ba..... ru........"
That is all part of my dream
Hokuto remembered Subaru's eyes, distant and cold. Then she remembered his old eyes; kind, gentle and loving.
All she wished was for them to be together again. Happy, smiling, joyful, her teasing Subaru about Seishiro.........
Hokuto collapsed to her knees, kept up by Seishiro.
"Sei-chan..... I'll need you to trust me," Hokuto said softly.
I want to believe in you once more. I can't help but hope for the mirackle that you two will survive Hokuto thought.
In the miracle, where we're together I want to believe once more...................
Forgotten to her, four years ago the exact same thing had happened to her in dream. Subaru had felt the exact same way as her. Maybe they had had the same dream.

Yay! My first Tokyo Babylon one shot!! This was about Hokuto, and oh my gosh, is that for real? There was hardly any Subaru? That's new. That's very new. And scary.
Anyway, I hope that you enjoyed it. The bit at the end is a fraction of a song called Reason by Tamaki Nami. I know, the translation varies, but that's the one I have. And I just think that the "pierce my suffocating heart" bit is very fitting for Tokyo Babylon seeing as the main characters either stab someone in the heart, get stabbed in the heart or both.
