At School:

Sixteen-year-old Ashlyn Williamson was sitting in the principal's office yet again, after a sudden outburst and a little shoving of a teacher, got her in this position. As the principal stared at Ashlyn, all she did was blow her bubble gum into big bubbles and popped with a loud noise as well as look all over the place. This however, was not the first time the child had gotten into trouble with teachers and the principal was finally getting tired of it.

"Look Ashlyn, I don't know what part of this you get an enjoy out of but I have teachers and even other parents who are calling me asking me to do something about your disruptive and disrespectful behavior. You've been like this ever since you had to move in with your aunt after your mother died. I'm sorry for that but it helps to talk about what is bothering you instead of just acting out. I'm sorry to do this because I feel like you have a lot of potential, but you are hereby suspended until further notice." The principal said. "Would you like me to call your aunt to come pick you up?"

"Don't even bother, she left days ago. I've been on my own for almost a week now and you guys were just so stupid and blind that you didn't see it. But don't worry, I won't be in your stupid school anymore," Ashlyn said as she picked up her back pack and ran out of the office.

Ashlyn ran throughout the entire empty hallway of the high school and out the doors. She didn't know where would go, but she wasn't going to go back to that building, even if her life depended on it. Now was a time where she wished her mother was still alive or she had at least known her father. Although her mother told her about him, Ashlyn has never seen him before. She does know and understand that her mother didn't tell the guy that she was pregnant, feeling it would make him want to stay with her just for the sake of the baby.

Ashlyn kept walking towards the downtown area of Los Angeles, but she didn't notice the vehicle that followed her every move.

About ten minutes later, Ashlyn reached a nearby fast-food restaurant. There was barely any traffic so the pickup which had been following her, pulled into a parking stall along the curb. Ashlyn had to set her bookbag down and opened it up to try and find her money, which was of course, at the bottom of the book bag. She couldn't get her books maneuvered enough to see the entire bottom, therefore, she did not pay attention to the man who was creeping up behind her.

Within a quick second, the man put his arms around Ashlyn, as she screamed for help and dropped her backpack.

"HELP ME! SOMEBODY HELP ME! LET GO OF ME, PUT ME DOWN!" Ashlyn screamed as the man through her inside his pickup and sped off before anybody could do anything.
