The origin of these two children was not known to any living beings on this earth, one purple and the other blue sat upon the cloud of blood that floated across the dead city that was no longer inhabited by the wise, only those who had nowhere else to go stayed here, the only others that resided here were the vermin and those of the correct blood, and you can rest assured that those of inferior blood were n'er to be found here.

Paimon was resting on the edge of the cloud whispering to the woman who crouched nearby, he had descended from her view to a lower level to reveal the noble families stance at the time. This was not an irregular scene, the woman came every Tuesday to Paimon to find out the particulars of life on the inside, and the other daemon sat and made sure that Paimon was telling the truth, Paimon had a way of revealing mysteries of the earth unknown to any other sentient being and was a very highly regarded daemon, mainly because he was so widely feared and only the bravest or the most desperate seeked his help. One reason for this was the blue daemon that accompanied him, Andras was not so easily swayed and was a master at concealment and trickery, he had been known to separate from Paimon for short amounts of time to torment the dying or those he considered troublesome.

The young woman still crouched by Paimons cloud was not of the Noble family of Vampyres, nor of any of the other houses, she was one of the few who were considered to be inferior. In this land it was only your blood that mattered, each 'family' of vampyres had different blood types. The first 'family' was the Aart family, they all had the blood type A and were therefore descended from the original vampyres from thousands of centuries ago, they did not like to think of the other vampyres, the ones that resided in the ditches of the city, clustered together like maggots to discarded food. They were the vermin to the Aarts and even Paimon didn't like to discuss them, however it was them about which the young wretch was inquiring, so naturally but somewhat despairingly he complied to her wishes, that was the thing about Paimon, he always told the truth which was somewhat unfortunate for the young woman who was present.
