AN: I had too, sorry. I know the format's wonky (and super short), but that was the point.

"Hey."

"Hmm?"

"When the hell'd you start doing that?"

"Hmm...I wonder."

"Dude, I hate when you do that."

"The smoking?"

"Nah, that's just weird, I meant the answering a question with a question. Feels like you're keeping secrets."

"Ah, then I am terribly sorry Gojyo, I did not intend for it to come out that way."

"Whatever, you only do that when you don't want to talk about her."

"...."

"Guess a stupid lines are better than no lines. What was it this time?"

"Nothing actually. This time I wasn't thinking about Kanan."

"You're shitting me?"

"Eloquent as always Gojuo."

"You know what I mean. Seriously, though?"

"Yes." A soft smile plays at the corner of his lips. "Yes, for once it wasn't her."

"Well hell. What was it then?" a tight curl of grey-white smoke billowing up into the air.

"...."

"Maybe it was the sunset." A twitching eye that ponders his sincerity.

"The sunset, man?" Sarcasm thick and syrupy on his tongue.

"Yes. The sunset." Surreptitious glances and gentle touches.

"The color of regret?" Unspoken pleas and hurried breaths.

"Didn't you know? That color only has one meaning." One hot line from ear to chest.

"Ha…" Fingers clenching hair, twisting up and out, others pressing up and in.

"…passion, love, life." Hushed breaths, tightness, explosive energy.

"Yeah?" Hooded eyes, pounding blood and heart.

"Yes." Tongue tinged with salt, tobacco, and something.

"Give me a drag of that too." Deep rumbling pressure spouted out between swollen lips.

"Of course, tastes better on you anyways." Cool fingers running along heated flesh.

"Then stop stealing my pack. It's weird." Gentle lips, flick of tongue, press of foreheads against each other.

"Only if you start liking sunsets." Trapped breaths and fingers.

"…only if you watch them with me." Slight pauses and fear laced words.

"Of course, where else would I watch them?" Answering hope.

Fin.
