A/N: I came up with this idea from the prompt '2 am'.

2 AM

It was late, about 2 in the morning. Isabelle had woken up in the middle of the night and neither of them could get her to stop crying. After some quiet debate, they decided to take her for a drive. She absolutely adored being in the car, the soft rumble of the engine and the gentle static from the radio always relaxing her. They had been driving for about a half an hour now, and she was fast asleep. Quinn was asleep as well, her head resting on Puck's shoulder, one of his arms draped loosely around her. This had become a nightly routine that he was quite adjusted to. At first it had annoyed him; no one wanted to be woken up in the middle of the night and forced to drive around for hours. It was a less than ideal situation, and he had hoped his daughter would quickly outgrow this phase she had fallen into. But now he actually looked forward to their nighttime drives. He was making his baby girl happy, and that was all that really mattered. Plus it gave him some time to think, and to just…be with Quinn. Lately it seemed that they never got to spend time alone together. They were in school, or he was working, or they were too exhausted to keep their eyes open.

"Noah…" A sleepy whisper fell from Quinn's lips and she pressed herself closer to him. An arrogant smirk slid onto his features as his lips brushed against her hair, his hand squeezing her shoulder reassuringly. It was the greatest feeling in the world, knowing that even in her sleep she was preoccupied with thoughts of him. She was his girl now. His. After years of what he could only describe as unrequited feelings, they were together. And she loved him. He still wasn't even sure how it all happened. She had shifted from completely hating him, to losing her virginity to him, to falling in love with him. It had all been one big complicated mess, so he tended to not dwell on it. All that mattered was that now he had the girl of his dreams and a beautiful daughter. "Is she sleeping?" Another hushed whisper from Quinn's lips let him know that she was no longer asleep.

"She's been asleep for about twenty minutes…fell asleep a little while after you did." She sat up a bit, stretching her arms carefully in front of her.

"I'm sorry. I tried to stay awake." she whispered apologetically. He noticed her shiver slightly and tugged at her waist, bringing her back into his side. One of Quinn's hands rested on his thigh, the other in her lap.

"Don't apologize. You were exhausted, you needed the sleep. Besides, it gave me some time to think." She tilted her head at a slight angle so she could look at him.

"What'd you think about?" she asked, her voice raspy from exhaustion. She brushed her fingertips against his jaw carefully.

"You." He pulled his gaze away from the road for a second to connect his gaze with hers. "Always you." he added softly. The corners of her lip tugged into a smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"Can we go home now?" she whispered, her face nuzzling against his chest. "This truck is not comfortable enough for sleeping." A playful grin danced on her lips as she toyed with the radio knobs. His lips brushed against her hair lightly, a soft smile on his face. He glanced into the rearview mirror, smiling at his sleeping daughter.

"Yeah…let's go home."
